Five, while dwelling in the yoga of darkness, he heard the sound of sweet music and songs. When he looked, there appeared a sixteen-year-old woman adorned with silk garments and gold and jade ornaments, riding a horse decorated with chain mail and bells, with a saddle covered in gold brocade 263༄༅། །. Grabbing her collar, he requested her to take him as a consort of the Holy Mother, she took off a precious headdress and placed it on the head of the Omniscient One, saying, "From now on, this will be a sign of the times, and I will bestow blessings and accomplishments." He remained for a long time in the samadhi of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality, establishing the auspicious connection to encounter the teachings of the Great Perfection. Later, at the age of twenty-nine, in the spring when he went to Samye (བསམ་ཡས་, located in Dranang County, Shannan Prefecture, Tibet), he went to Upper Kham Puna to meet the venerable Lama Kumaraja, and on the way, he met Yakde Panchen. Although he urged him to go to see the Je Drung Karmapa, he did not listen. In Upper Kham Puna, he met the Rigdzinpa and a gathering of about seventy or more disciples. He said, "Last night I dreamed that a strange bird called the heavenly bird came with a large flock of small birds and took all my books in all directions, which means that a holder of the lineage will come." He was very pleased. Because there was nothing to pay the religious tax, he felt very sad. Because no one but me had to leave the Lama for the religious tax, it would be shameful to leave during the day. When he thought that he had to reach the end of this valley tomorrow morning 264, the Lama knew through his foreknowledge and sent two monks back to tell him, "This is paid from his religious tax, do not force him." He was very happy. In order to encourage the disciples, the Rigdzinpa did not establish a residence. That spring, he moved from one empty valley to another, moving nine times.
