If one does not think in that direction, it is like wandering in the wilderness. In the sutra written by Li Tsa, it says: Many should also be touched in small amounts, because they are not dedicated to omniscient wisdom. Like this, if one is seized by the three supremes, it is a root of virtue in accordance with liberation, and if one is not seized, it is called a root of merit in accordance with merit, and the result will be inferior. Second, explaining the specific nature in detail, there are three: What is the object of dedication, the difference of merit; where to dedicate, the difference of place; how to dedicate, the difference of path. The first is: the root of all virtues of the three doors, taken from all aspects by the mind without the three poisons. The Jewel Garland says: There is no attachment, hatred, or ignorance, and the action generated by it is virtue. This is also divided from the perspective of the object of merit, there are three types of objects of merit: those arising from generosity, those arising from discipline, and those arising from meditation. What is relevant here today is the object of merit arising from generosity. Classifying it: Material things, fearlessness, Dharma, and love, four types of generosity are constantly given. The first of these is the main one. How to give? It is said: Giving in time and without regret, pleasing giving and not expecting fruition. Having the four characteristics mentioned, there is nothing that cannot be dedicated to the cause of Buddhahood. In general, in this collection of good deeds, it can be mentioned that the classification of the four types of generosity is complete. Furthermore, just as the extremely vast Vinaya Pitaka, the brief verses, the intentions of the Three Skandhas Sutra, etc., in the realms of the ten directions, there are countless three-thousand-great-thousand worlds. In those worlds, the Buddhas, Bhagavan, of the past, present, and future, from the initial generation of the supreme Bodhicitta, until the final manifestation of enlightenment, and the roots of virtue starting from the six perfections, as well as Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, Sravaka learners, non-learners, and all the defiled and undefiled roots of virtue created by gods and humans, etc., who have been tamed by the teachings of the Buddhas,
