Adorned with twelve ornaments and the like, the eight great accomplishments were achieved through the asceticism of mantras. Having become independent in all common and uncommon accomplishments such as cutting off and subduing, in order to serve the image and teachings of the Sugata, and the manner of depiction, it has not been heard that there is anything worthy of competing with it.40 That body with the thirty-two major marks excellently maintained the teachings for six hundred years. Finally, the son of King Delightful Conduct, named Raba Nuje, was given a good seamless garment by his own mother, and he said, "I will wear this when I inherit the kingdom." The mother said, "You will not inherit the kingdom, because your father and teacher have simultaneously accomplished the elixir of life, so they are one with the teacher's life. Therefore, the elder brothers also wear this when they inherit the kingdom between sons and grandsons." The mother said, "You will not inherit the kingdom, because your father and teacher are one in the elixir of life and view, so they are one with the teacher's life. Therefore, the elder brothers also passed away without obtaining the kingdom between sons and grandsons." Therefore, he became very unhappy because of the pain of desiring the kingdom. The mother said, "Oh, there is a way. Since the teacher is a Bodhisattva, he will give it to you if you offer your head." The son also came to the presence of the teacher on Mount Glorious in order to offer his head. There, the teacher instructed, "Cut it off as you wish!" Even a very sharp sword could not cut it off. Having seen that cutting bamboo would cause the sin of cutting off life, he instructed to cut it with the skin of bamboo.41 He did as he was told. A sound arose saying, "I will go from here to Sukhavati, and later I will enter this body again." Because he had accomplished the elixir of life, fearing that he would recover again, he began to carry the head to a place where it would be cut off at a great distance. On the way, he was robbed by a yakshini, and temples were built for both the head and the body. It is said that previously the distance between the two was about four yojanas, but now it is only about the distance of a shout. It is said that this teacher's friend, named Brahmin Supreme Sovereignty, from the noble Avalokiteshvara

There arose one who had accomplished mantra, and he summoned Nāgaśeṣa, who was known to be fully versed in the sound treatise Vākya-pada, and wrote letters and composed commentaries. Furthermore, he seduced the king's daughter, Spring Maiden, by means of deception, etc. From this, it is known that there are also wondrous tales about the origin of the sound treatise Kaulapada, which differ from those previously circulated. The disciples of this teacher are countless, but Śavaripa is known as an accomplished yogi in the new tradition. The second ornament that adorns Jambudvipa: Ubyadeva. Although in previous histories, he was said to be a blooming haritaki fruit born in the center of Parlau, the teacher Chandrakirti said that he was the son of the king of Sikola, and that is also said in some unreliable legends. In the family of King Panyugriga of the island of Sidhmala, he took hold of a new sprout of youth. Having grown up, he was not interested in the position of regent, so he took ordination and full ordination from Khenpo Hemadeva. He made the moonlight brighter, known by the name Urudeva. Having mastered the three pitakas, he traveled throughout Jambudvipa to worship temples and stupas in different places. He relied on the lotus feet of the great teacher Nāgārjuna and studied the five sciences with their branches, which are suitable for all Buddha's offspring, and mastered the knowledge of outer and inner tenets as vast as the ocean. He also manifested many places where attainments could be obtained and was appointed as the true lord of the Dharma. He obtained resources from mountain gods and tree gods, etc., and built twenty-four temples. He established a basis for Mahayana Dharma by associating with a yakshini. In the southern regions, he greatly benefited sentient beings through the three aspects of wisdom. Later, in the eastern city of Lina called Korta, there arose a Brahmin who conquered all directions by accomplishing the moon in his desired view. With the arrogance of accomplishment, the Brahmin named Durnivarana Krishna. He went to all the places and subordinate regions where the Buddha's teachings existed, and with harsh debates, he almost destroyed all.
