Here, the explanation 524 does not explicitly state it, but it can be understood through the power of what follows. Secondly, regarding the classification of the Old Tantras, it is divided into a general presentation of the divisions and a specific explanation of the secret mantras. The first is: if combined with the order of vehicles, there are nine. As stated in the Root Tantra of Magical Illusion: "Discipline, Sutra, Abhidharma, vows, practice and accomplishment, the tantras of body, speech, and mind." Thus, by showing the three vehicles of cause and the six vehicles of result, it encompasses and demonstrates all the turnings of the Dharma wheel. Furthermore, from the perspective of detailed stacking, the Sound Treatise states: "The manner of speaking includes three intentions, antidote, collection, and the meaning of faculties, words are collected and manifested. Words that do not express that, the Buddhas of the three times have not spoken." Therefore, speaking with the antidote in mind refers to the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, speaking with collection in mind refers to the profound and vast Vajrayana, and speaking with faculties in mind refers to the two worldly vehicles and the three that have passed. The essence of these scriptures, without exception, winds samsara and nirvana around the house of the order of vehicles, its classification is limitless, but for the moment, it is unbearable to carry it on the shoulders of a few letters. Secondly, 525༄༅། Regarding the specific explanation of the nature of secret mantras, there are two parts: the outer enduring vehicle of tantra and the inner vehicle of skillful means tantra. The first part is: because it abides in cleanliness and primarily emphasizes the actions and activities of body, speech, and mind, it is in accordance with the three lesser vehicles of the emanation body vehicle, so it is called the outer enduring. Because the great Dharma belonging to the category of secret mantras, the classification of the ground, path, and result is uninterrupted, it is classified as tantra. If classified, there are three: Kriya, Upa, and Yoga. The first part is also shown through four aspects: sound meaning, tenets, path, and result. First, the sound meaning is: Kriya, which refers to the meaning of primarily performing actions of body and speech, and Tantra, which refers to the meaning of being related to the tantra system. Second, the tenets are: considering the illusion appearing in conventional truth as the impurity to be purified, considering the nature of the undefiled realm of ultimate truth as the basis of purification, and considering entering the essence of non-duality as the basis to be realized, thereby entering the realm

One acknowledges the deity of self-nature purity. Third, regarding the path, by knowing all mundane appearances to be the nature of the six deities, one cultivates the wisdom deity of the yidam as the lord, and one's own samaya deity as a servant, and enters the clear light of the dharmata that arises in ultimate truth. The six deities are: merely appearing as the illusory body of the deity, not abiding in the extremes of one and many; speech appearing as the sound of the mantra deity, is the wheel of recitation of sound and emptiness; mind appearing as the deity of mindfulness, thought, and samadhi by focusing on the mudras; radiating and gathering, appearing as the body color, liberated as the deity of light; appearing as the deity of the manner of abiding, appearing as the seat, throne, and attire, liberated as the palace; liberation as the wisdom deity, appearing as samsara and nirvana dharmakaya, what should be abandoned is liberated as wisdom. In short, one tames the attachment to the six objects, and by knowing the appearance as the deity of form and so on as six, one tames the afflictions. Fourth, in the process of practice, the qualities of view and samadhi go higher and higher, and ultimately in sixteen lifetimes, one is believed to attain buddhahood inseparable from the deity. As it is said in the Vajra Sumeru: "Whoever holds the mantra, great fortunate aeon, with pure vows, pure diligence, at that time in sixteen births, attains liberation, supreme wisdom." That is, the actions of the body are the three great baths, including the subtle bath, and changing the three garments, eating the three foods, fasting, cleanliness, asceticism, the difference in sitting posture, and through means such as binding mudras. The action of speech is mainly recitation, and the key point of the mind is to cultivate oneself as a servant and the deity as the lord. The categories of these tantras are also: during the early dissemination of the teachings, pandita khenpo Shantarakshita, Guru Padmasambhava, Vimalamitra, and translators Vairochana, Nyak Jnanakumara, Ma Rinchen Chok, Atsaru Yeshe Yang, and others translated many outer and inner tantras. First, among the six kriyatantras of the action tantra, the tantra of the Good Arm, which opens the treasury of all vidyas; the Vajrapani Empowerment Tantra, which bestows the empowerment of all vidyas; the Wisdom Supreme, which reveals the secret of all vidyas.
