With the inseparability of skillful means and wisdom, compassion arises for beings through swift skillful means. Again, the most excellent exertion, the sharpness of intelligence, beginningless wisdom, this is the auspicious chapter, the seventieth chapter. Tenth, the empowerment of the sword: Previously, glorious Vairochana bestowed the empowerment of the precious sword upon the retinue, thereby obtaining the supreme empowerment of destroying the intermediate hosts of demons. Possessing strength, power, and great might, subduing the hosts of demons, conquering all contentions of others, conquering all with great greatness, may all have power over all might and strength! The precious sword adorned with eight jewels, suppressing the wrong side and contention, the great host of demons skilled in skillful means, this is the auspicious chapter of conquering all, the seventy-first chapter. The precious crown, adorned with jewels, protects from the four fears and guards against the faults of wrong paths. May you obtain the unchanging Yungdrung life empowerment. Yungdrung Auspicious Chapter Three. Thirteenth, the Needle and Thread Empowerment: In the past, on the summit of Mount Sumeru, Vairochana empowered his retinue with the thread of Brahma, thereby obtaining the empowerment to desire virtuous qualities. In accordance with this, by bestowing the empowerment of Brahma's needle and thread, may you obtain the sacred oath of accomplishing virtuous qualities. Brahma's needle and thread are the auspiciousness of nearness, the glory of perfecting virtuous qualities. To protect against all faults, it is auspicious. May the supreme empowerment of all perfections be auspicious. Brahma's needle and thread accomplish virtuous qualities. Whoever's mind is in harmony, accomplishes virtuous intentions. In meaning, it is a sign of great compassion and greatness. The auspicious chapter of Brahma's goodness is the fourth. Fourteenth, the Clothing Empowerment: In the past, on the summit of Mount Sumeru, the glorious Vairochana empowered his retinue with the near-precious clothing, thereby obtaining the sacred empowerment to protect against the suffering of cold. In accordance with this, by bestowing the empowerment of the near-precious clothing, may you obtain the sacred empowerment to pacify the afflictions of cold in both this life and the next. The precious clothing that protects against all faults is the supreme bliss, the inexhaustible wish-fulfilling source. May this sacred clothing of perfect qualities of Brahma be worn in both this life and the next. How should one regard precious clothing? Its size and shape are suitable, appearing beautiful to beings. Its qualities are unsurpassed, like the body of the noble ones. It is the auspicious chapter of the sign of Dharma nature, the fifth. This is the auspicious chapter that pervades all, the sixth meaning. Sixteenth, the empowerment of the thousand lion's roar is: Previously, on the summit of Mount Sumeru, the glorious Sarvavid Vairochana, to the retinue, through the empowerment of the skin of the thousand lion's roar, a precious object of closeness, attained the supreme empowerment of leading sentient beings with compassion. In accordance with this, through the empowerment of the skin of the thousand lion's roar, a precious object of closeness, may you attain the supreme empowerment of accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings with compassion! The skin of the thousand lion's roar is auspicious, it is the supreme auspiciousness of equality for all, it is the auspiciousness of complete perfection of qualities. May the supreme empowerment of accomplishing benefit with compassion be auspicious! With great compassion, be skilled in benefiting sentient beings. May the impoverished and destitute accomplish the benefit of all, leading sentient beings from the place of samsara. This is the auspicious chapter of accomplishing the benefit of beings, the seventh meaning. Seventh, of the sixteen empowerments of auspicious substances, the first is the empowerment of white mustard seeds: Previously, the Bhagavan, by scattering white mustard seeds, blessed them as an antidote to the king of obstacles, which the Vajra Acharya I bestow, so that in the mindstream of the disciple's body and mind, the evil intentions of hundreds of thousands of obstacles cannot intrude, and may it become the auspiciousness of meaning, fully endowed with the power and strength to subdue all obstacles! This substance endowed with splendor, I, the Vajra Master, bestow upon you, my disciple. May you be auspicious with the meaning of the essence of samadhi and the splendor of merit. Yogurt is the essence of all, it is the pure essence, realizing bodhicitta. By becoming the essence of all qualities, may auspiciousness also be pacified here today. This auspicious and blessed supreme substance, the supreme yogurt, the wish-fulfilling yogurt with supreme desires, pacifies afflictions, satiates and satisfies, endowed with splendor, auspicious with empowerment, the ninth chapter. Third is the empowerment of kusha grass: In the past, the Blessed One received the kusha grass offered by the Brahmin Kundali. Just as many branches and leaves grow from a small kusha grass, may this blessed substance, from which many fruits of merit grow from a small root of virtue, be given to the disciple. May you not be confused about the cause and effect of Dharma, and relying on the small root of virtue, may the fruits of merit fully increase, may you be auspicious with this meaning. Kusha grass increases life, perfectly accomplishing the Vajra life. Cutting off the suffering of birth and death, may the auspiciousness of kusha grass make life stable. Kusha grass is the supreme grass, increasing with many merits. Auspicious branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits flourish. Whatever auspiciousness is desired in the mind, may the wish-fulfilling auspicious article be fulfilled, the eightieth chapter. Fourth is the empowerment of the lychee. In the past, the Blessed One received the lychee offered by the earth goddess. Just as the red lychee exists in the nature of attachment, this substance blessed by great compassion without abandoning all sentient beings, I give to you, my disciple. May you act for the benefit of all sentient beings, practicing all the dharmas of samsara, and while practicing all the dharmas, may you be unattached, may you be auspicious with this meaning. The red lychee is the nature of power, all dharmas become free, fully revealing the kingdom of Dharma, may auspiciousness also reveal the kingdom. Ka
