May you obtain the wisdom to quickly understand all pleasant sounds and all defilements of suffering and affliction, and may you be endowed with auspicious and supreme radiance. Even though the body of the Victorious One is not tainted by faults, this pure and cooling whisk cleanses the body's impurities. The whisk is the tenth auspiciousness of empowerment. In the past, when the Bhagavan resided in Rajagriha, the son of the thirty-three gods, Light-from-Everywhere, dusted with a duster, causing the nature of Dharma to be tainted by faults. Similarly, by empowering with the duster of the gods, may you obtain the power to enter into the meaning of the profound nature of Dharma. May you completely wipe away all afflictive dust, the place where the Sugatas of the three times reside. In order to eliminate the taint of non-attachment, by wiping the body with a cloth of auspicious purity. The duster is the eleventh auspiciousness of empowerment. In the past, when the Bhagavan resided in the forest, the son of the thirty-three gods fanned with a fly whisk, thereby liberating from the fault of clinging to sentient beings. Similarly, by empowering with the fly whisk of the gods, may you be endowed with the power to be liberated from the fault of clinging. May you eliminate the ignorance of afflicted sentient beings, obtain the state of liberation as a result, and in order to circle at the feet of the Sugata, may you purify the defilements of worldly faults. In the past, when the Bhagavan turned the wheel of Dharma on Vulture Peak Mountain, the fourfold assembly erected a great victory banner, obtaining the power of great merit that does not diminish. Similarly, through the empowerment of the victory banner, may you obtain the power of great merit that does not diminish! The spontaneously accomplished, perfectly realized victory banner, never diminishes or exhausts, constantly increasing. It is the supreme quality, surpassing all others, may the great merit never diminish! Adorning the entire world with majesty and beauty, destroying the armies of demons and heretics, inseparable from the body of the Buddha, this is the auspicious fourteen of the victory banner empowerment. In the past, when the Bhagavan went to the Pleasure Garden, the retinue covered the suffering of heat with umbrellas, pacifying the suffering of heat. Similarly, through the empowerment of the umbrella, may you obtain the power to pacify all the suffering of afflictions! The umbrella eliminates all the suffering of heat, it is the supreme and sacred cool umbrella, it is the medicine for beings to pacify the heat of afflictions, may it gradually eliminate all suffering! Just as being tormented by the heat of afflictions, the umbrella protects from the suffering of heat, for the sake of protecting from the suffering and faults of samsara, this is the auspicious fifteen of the supreme umbrella empowerment.
