And the nature of reality is emptiness. The seat is a lotus and moon. The speech is the seed syllable. The mind is the mudra. The body is complete. The conduct is: not separated from the samadhi of the deity, mainly benefiting oneself and others through the four activities. As it says in the *Tops*: "Abiding in the samadhi of the deity, never abandoning all sentient beings. Always keeping the Buddha in mind. Always offering the supreme offering to the Buddha." So it is said. Secret substances are also used on occasion: Pieces of the skull are placed as objects to stabilize the mothers. A vase filled with blood is also placed in the four corners of the mandala. So it is said. Realizing the wisdom of ultimate meaning is the Dharmakaya. The five families are the Sambhogakaya. What arises from that is the Nirmanakaya. As it says in the *Treasure Transmission*: "The arising of the five families is in the manner of companions, realizing the noble Mahavairocana. Arranged densely with nine branches." So it is said. The place is: where the gods reside, the birds sing sweetly, and there is a grove of lush trees. The Vajradhatu is the mandala. The teacher is: the scholar Makuti. The retinue of disciples is: Vajra Garuda, Fierce Activity, and so on. The empowerment is: the sixty-three of Yoga. The reason is: praising the great qualities of the body of the Bhagavan Vairocana. The need is: obtaining empowerment brings auspiciousness, and qualities arise in the continuum. Then, in order to prevent the empowerment from degenerating, and to clarify the instructions: the five great essences reside in the center of one's heart, originally residing in the nature of the five self-existing families and the five wisdoms. That is, visualize a white drop the size of a pea at the crown of the head. When it is clear, a drop appears from the center of the sky. As it says, through the white drop descending up and down, visualize the five essences residing in the center of the heart, mixed inseparably. That is the nature of ultimate meaning, without characteristics. The deities of the five families of the Vajradhatu. The appearance of the conventional wisdom, abiding un fabricated in the nature of self-existing non-duality, is the sphere of Dharmata. Then, offer praise to the mandala. Take the siddhi. Make requests. Make invocations. Gather. Make offerings to the lama. Scatter flowers and, accompanied by Rommo, recite the auspicious verses: Vairocana, supreme wisdom, possessing a great ocean, possessing a body like the full moon, accomplishing existence to the end, whatever auspiciousness fulfills all intentions, by that auspiciousness.

Adorning and abiding with all the qualities of all Buddhas, Bestowing the gift of true wealth, bestowing without deception, What is the auspiciousness called Ratnasambhava? Auspiciousness... Dwelling in meditation and samadhi, reaching the other shore, On the lotus of wisdom, dwelling with immeasurable life, What is the auspicious auspiciousness of the blessings of Amitabha? By that auspiciousness, may there also be peace and well-being today! For the sake of sentient beings, directing your mind to action, Liberating all beings from the bonds of bondage, What is the auspiciousness of the supreme mind, accomplishing meaningful achievement? By that auspiciousness, may there also be peace and well-being today! Saying this, scatter flowers. Dedicate the supreme virtue to enlightenment. This is the ritual of Yoga.
