I take refuge! May my Buddha's teachings, universally and without contradiction, abide well. The very essence of the actions of the Great Vehicle's Secret Mantra, especially the vows, I have taken. I will take them in truth. The deities of the Great Vehicle's Mantra, the meaning of the one and only wisdom, I have truly taken. The supreme lineage of the body, abiding in the vows of discipline, I will strive to accomplish whatever I can. The supreme and pure lineage of the lotus, proclaiming the outer and inner secret speech, I will uphold all the sacred Dharma. The vows of the supreme Vajra lineage are, the mudra of the vajra bell as well, rely on the guru, the Vajra lineage. For the sake of the benefit of limitless sentient beings, I take the vows of Secret Mantra, I will truly uphold them. I will diligently cultivate the supreme Bodhisattva. Thus, three times. The teaching is: Outer paths are superior to inner paths, and within inner paths, there are gods, humans, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas, these are the vehicles of reasoning. Among these, the Secret Mantra vehicle here is particularly superior. In the "Three Kinds of Lamps," it is said: "Not being confused about a single meaning, having many methods without difficulty, and mastering the sharp faculties, the Secret Mantra vehicle is particularly superior." Thus it is said. The precepts are: The Kriya vows are thirteen in number, from today onwards, you all, in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and in the Secret Mantra forms, mantras, and assemblies, should be firmly established with faith. Always in the Great Mudra, especially you should also have devotion. Be friends with those who have vows, and be respectful to the guru. Do not hate all the deities, and make offerings at the appropriate times. Do not accept the teachings of other teachers, and always treat the guru as an honored guest. The mind of loving-kindness towards all beings, should be placed very firmly. For those who delight in the supreme vehicle, diligently accumulate the accumulation of merit. Strive to recite and contemplate, and the vows that are taught in the Secret Mantra tantras, should also be protected. To those who do not have vows, mantras and mudras should not be given. Well spoken from the Secret Mantra tantras, may I also realize them. Thus, the teaching. Then give the water of the vase: This is your water of hell, if you break the vows it will burn, if you keep the vows it will bring accomplishment.

Holding the swastika that accomplishes all purposes. Supreme empowerment... Oṃ Bodhi... Abhi... Hūṃ. In the east, the lotus-holder with the right timing, holds a white, glorious shield and wheel. May I obtain the empowerment of that goddess. Traṃ Maṃ Gala Devi Abhi... Hūṃ. In the south, the fearless, radiant mother, holds a blue lotus and victory banner. May I obtain the empowerment of that goddess. Traṃ Maṃ Gala Devi Abhi... Hūṃ. In the west, the radiant, immaculate one, holds a red umbrella and vase. May I obtain the empowerment of that goddess. Traṃ Maṃ Gala Devi Abhi... Hūṃ. In the north, the kind-spoken, virtuous-minded one, holds a green conch and golden fish. May I obtain the empowerment of that goddess... The four continents are: In the past, when the Bhagavan went to the continent of the great ocean, Vajrapāṇi was empowered by the great ocean, and realized the profound and vast Dharma of no birth in his continuum. Similarly, by the empowerment of the great ocean, may I obtain the great qualities of no birth, deep, and as vast as the ocean, pervading everywhere. May I realize the Dharma meaning that is deeper and wider than the great ocean, without birth and cessation. Having understood the Dharma-nature like the ocean, in the deep and immeasurable ocean, the wish-fulfilling jewel appears in beautiful colors. This is one of the auspicious signs of the ocean empowerment. Stūpa. In the past, when the Bhagavan completed the twelve deeds, together with the Udumbara flower, Vajrapāṇi was empowered by the self-arisen stūpa and the emanation stūpa, etc., and thus attained the non-conceptual Dharmakāya. Similarly, here too, by the empowerment of the great stūpa, may I be endowed with the empowerment to attain the Dharmakāya.
