The place of clinging, from beginningless time clinging to self, during that time, tormented in the mire of suffering, if the peg of grasping and grasper is not pulled out, Vajrasattva has not said there is liberation. The sole nature of reality, free from elaboration, clinging to self and other, forever wandering. As long as there is a concept of other, whatever is done is a cause for binding oneself. Wanting liberation, yet again becoming a cause for binding, like a silkworm spinning its cocoon. What is the concept of self and other? Self and other are actions on object and mind, because there are two, there are actions and deeds, hope and doubt, good and bad, virtue and vice, cause and effect, heavens and hells, and so on. As long as the non-duality of object and mind is not realized, saying self and other are non-dual is like blind men examining an elephant. The awareness of self and other is not mixed, saying the non-duality of object and mind is ignorance. The root of faults is accompanied by grasper and grasped. Some say this about a certain tenet, I and self are originally separate, not finding the nature of my mind. Some think the nature of reality is only one, but think the natures are different. Some think it is only mind-nature, mind-natures are different, saying object and mind are non-dual. Some have not truly realized the one, only saying one in the realm of consciousness. Even if there is, the root of faults is still accompanied by grasper and grasped. Because it is not separated from the source of faults, it is not said to be liberated from the edge of samsara. Therefore, know the root of faults. The Buddhas have not spoken of various classifications. In short, there are eighty-four thousand. That is also the great bliss of effortless self-arising. Therefore, you must thoroughly understand it. Again and again, look at the root of faults. If you are not separated from the root of faults, even if you have miraculous powers and realization, you will never be liberated. If there is knowable and knower, the root of faults is closely connected with it. What I can show you, what I can show you, all abide in fragments of realization. Everything abides in emptiness, so it is water. It can ripen the true fruit, so it is fire. It can show its own nature, so it is earth. It can transform samsara into enlightenment, so it is wind. It can make its own nature clear.

Out of emptiness. This great method of subduing the great elements, like a heart, is a Dharma like rain. Examine it for a long time and combine it with the vast. This or a vessel-holder is rare in Jambudvipa. If a vessel is not found, then bury it as a treasure in a deserted place. Thus it is said. The eleventh (chapter), a text showing the root of the faults of sentient beings. Homage to the pure wisdom body! The basis of all the Buddha's good origins, the Dharma body that does not realize selflessness and duality. The two form bodies and other qualities body, like the appearance of a lamp, are not separate. The meaning of uprightness is only a different count. Because the knowledge of clinging to self is good, the river of birth, old age, sickness, and death is cut off from the root. Because the object of clinging to the Dharma is reversed, the five poisons are not cut off, and oneself is cut off. The four bodies and five wisdoms are spontaneously accomplished, and the Buddha's great qualities are inconceivable. The substance of the body has nothing, and all three thousand worlds are subdued and suppressed by power. The substance of speech has nothing, and the teachings cause the sons to mature, so it is like fire. Because it shows one's own nature, samsara causes Buddhahood, so it is like wind. Because one's own Dharma nature is clear, it is like space. This great method of subduing the great elements, like a heart, is a Dharma like rain.
