Printed. Like a mango on a tree, It gradually grows and ripens. If you want to find the essence of the path, The signs of the path are symbolized by metaphors: With the non-abiding, non-dwelling lamp, Become skilled in the lineage of the path. The characteristics of habitual thoughts, Although they appear as various things, Are like mirages in the clear sky. That is also firm and definite, If understood by symbolic metaphors, Like clouds and rainbows in the sky, And the continuous appearance of rain, etc., Are just illusions of the sky, Not always appearing like that. Like the illusion of magical manifestations. Therefore, all the dharmas of things, Are not from the signs of things, Therefore, know that all dharmas are without self-nature. This is the supreme of the yoga path. Following after the meaning, The meaning is the essence of dharmata, The follower is the mind. When the mind is joined with the dharma, It is taught by the name of "ten aspects." What are the twelve? The state of arising desire, The state of giving and joining, The state of entering learning, The state of changing perception, The state of entering great practice, The state of feeling the taste itself, The state of arriving at great realization, The state of becoming confident in that, And the tenth is the state of being able to function. Each of these ten, At each time, the mind and dharma meet, And one awakening bodhicitta arises. What is bodhicitta? This has ten kinds of classifications. The moving bodhicitta, Likewise, the aspiration bodhicitta, The rising great bodhicitta, Likewise, the joining bodhicitta, The entering mind and the joyful mind, The unchanging and knowing, The abiding and the complete. Because it is called bodhicitta, Therefore, the Victorious One taught these ten minds. The nature of bodhicitta, Because it is joined with the ten aspects, Therefore, the image of dharmata appears to me. What kind of image appears with what? An example of unreal self-appearance. For example, from the dark clouds, A star as small as a needle, And likewise, ordinary stars, And also the great stars, And the appearance of the first day of the moon, Two and three and four and five, Eight and sixteen aspects, All appear as images, Becoming things

All appearances are not real, Like the moon in water, they cannot be grasped. The mind's reflections appear, And the two, the sun of clear Dharmata. Like the nature of objects and senses, The sound and wisdom are clear in their essence. An example where signs and value correspond, Both should be known as changing together. This is the path of union in yoga, A great method to be traversed. Since those essences are continuous, Through the ten stages of great yoga, From the distinctions of the five yogas, Sixteen are perfectly completed continuously. Likewise, in all that is to be known, Through the distinctions of ten aspects, From the beginning, it abides perfectly. By combining, that which is becomes powerful. In the moments when desire arises, A mind with increasing movement arises, Like a womb of dark clouds, Faintly visible are star-like sparks. In the moments of giving and union, A mind with increasing aspiration arises, Many very small stars, Appear faintly on it. In the moments of entering the learning place, The fifth, Bodhicitta, arises, Like a great ray of fire, Faintly visible like a great star. In the moments of transforming consciousness, A mind with increasing union arises, Like an unopposed wheel, It appears like a single crescent moon. In the moments of entering great union, A mind with increasing entry arises, Like a lamp, It appears like a second crescent moon. In the moments of experiencing taste, A mind with increasing joy arises, Like a vessel's meditation, Or like the third, it appears there. In the moments of entering the object, A mind with increasing immutability arises, It is close to attainment and stability, Its nature appears like the fourth. In the moments of great thought, A mind with increasing awareness arises, It relies closely on the great first constant, Its nature appears like the fifth. In the moments of becoming confident, A mind with increasing abiding arises, Like a very clear lamp, Its nature appears like the eighth. When the sign is obtained, it is said to be accomplished, It is not the same as the first sign. In the moments of being workable, A mind with increasing perfection arises, Like a lamp without an opponent, It appears like a part that is complete. Being firmly determined is said to be accomplished, It subdues the ground of non-differentiation. From the tree of Bodhicitta.
