The treatise called "Yoga Sequence Tantra." In the Indian language: Yoga Kramanama Pritatantra Nama. In Tibetan: Called "Yoga Sequence Tantra." Homage to the Bhagavan, the Lord of Secrets, the Tathagata, the subduer of those difficult to subdue. Having respectfully offered to the five bodies in this way, Upon the three edges and five aspects of yoga, The sequence of fourteen transformations, Is explained for the purpose of learning and practice. The three edges of yoga are to be explained, The four and two of the action continuum yoga, And the two aspects of certainty, the two paths, The fruit of no action is the ultimate completion. Firstly, the knowable things are three, Outer, inner, and outer-inner. Earth, water, fire, wind, and space, And the six objects, the wisdom vajra's, The essence of original purity, How it is determined by non-accumulation and completeness. The inner mind and discriminations, etc., The phenomena that grasp beings, The very nature of being is free from extremes, Spontaneously perfect without coming or going. Outer and inner yoga are like this: All things, totality, color, and shape, Certain and uncertain, arising and not arising, Inferior and superior, done and not done, Conditioned and unconditioned, Common and distinct aspects, The way things are, without mixing action and non-action. The term yoga is the indivisible nature. Furthermore, there are three natures of discrimination, Four wrong views, five aspects of affliction, The five aggregates and the five senses, Six causes, twelve conditions and dharmas, Twelve births and teachings, Eighteen natures and eleven conducts, Four ripenings and five paths, Six abodes, three corners, and one delusion, The desired fruit becomes four, The non-duality of nature is known as the cause. The characteristic of the first yoga is, Because it cannot be pointed out as "this," It is completely separate, solitary, and does not abandon anything. Uncollected, complete, undivided, separate, Unreached, all-reached, without coming, pervasive. In the heart essence of suchness, enlightenment, There is no such thing as the two truths or terminology. It is difficult to reach with thought and words, Because the unutterable self-awareness is the basis and essence of all things. From the mind arises true wisdom, Likewise, happiness and suffering arise. Dharma and Buddha, wisdom arise, The Sangha is also the same. In this, the perfection of the other shore is complete, And enlightenment and lotus arise.

Arises. Herein arise Vajrasattva, Immaculate Jewel Bestower of Glory. Likewise, Vajra Immeasurable and Various Victors arise from this. From this arise various mudras, And all the heart essences of vidya. Herein arise desire and hatred, Suffering, pride, and jealousy. Ignorance, too, is the same, From this arise all desires, Male, female, and hermaphrodite. From this arise longing and torment of desire, Afflictions, anguish, and attachment. Mountains and beings likewise, Sky and winds, Burning fire intensely arise. Herein are earth and water, Stone, seed, and sprout arise. Likewise, constellations and stars arise, Sun, moon, and clouds arise. Likewise, conduct and non-conduct, All, all will arise. The ocean, water itself, appears like waves, Various appearances are not from elsewhere. Self-arisen, self-appearing, essence itself, Unfabricated, instantaneous appearance. All is the mandala of mind itself. In the clear light of intrinsic wisdom, If there is no lineage of conceptual delusion, Sentient beings of the three cities, Because they do not abide together with means, Though they see the truth, they do not ascertain it. Though they see, they become like not seeing, Mind itself is primordially Buddha, Obscured by concepts, they do not know it. Primordially inseparable, they do not know its face. Not hidden anywhere, not seen. Bound by the five bonds of attachment, Due to clinging to names as entities, The meaning of the three cities appears as sound. Why is delusion not exhausted? The sky is without seeing. Though it appears in the mind, It does not appear as form. The appearance of darkness, said the Lord of Secrets. Whoever cuts the bonds of attachment, And whoever possesses their own eye, The realm of darkness is itself nirvana. How does darkness appear? Because all do not abide, but are enlightened, Though not accomplished from effort, Yet if illusion is abandoned, like freedom from delusion, The essence of non-elaboration abides in wisdom. Ignorance and wisdom are not different, Merely separating individual appearances. On the path of non-understanding, one. Because this mind appears as various, It is one in various minds. For example, from one gold, Shapes and angles are different, Having been made, they are known by separate names. Likewise, on the nature of mind, There is a difference between delusion and non-delusion.
