Especially. However you look, it appears like an illusion, Although it appears, nothing other than mind is seen. This precious lamp that burns, Even if flaws are sought, Yet its qualities are greatly apparent, And the light becomes clear in the sky. Likewise, the nature of mind is like a precious lamp, Even if body and speech sink into samsara, Yet it arises on its own, pacifies on its own, and appears on its own, The wisdom of Dharma-nature is clear in the sky. The nature of mind is like the sky, All-pervading, empty and clear, and various things arise. Arising, feeling, moving, stopping, everything, All arise from their own nature and naturally subside. In short, however you examine and think, Because of change, everything appears as essence. From the beginning, the essence of Bodhi, Is the Dharma-nature of the Buddha, free from superimposition. Likewise, samsara has no superimposition, Because there is original purity, it is an adventitious Dharma. In that essence itself, there is no separation or play. Therefore, it is said to be individually determined. It is the uncreated of the true path, Having abandoned afflictions, there is nothing to do. Like a precious knot, It is connected by the means of its own nature, The action of knowing and representing, Because it is connected like cause and condition, It is thus established as certain. Therefore, it needs to be represented and known, So two necessities will be explained. Like gold and seeing gold, First, make the meaning of what is said visible. From the order of Yoga of the Holy Word of Yoga Accomplished, the first chapter explaining the Yoga of Action Cause. The third, those who dwell on the ground, By the very method of cutting and purifying habitual patterns, Because great good and bad arise, You should strive very diligently in conduct. The fourth, those who dwell on the ground, Is the cause of the appearance of small signs of warmth, Because they abide in one-pointed samadhi, They will abide in one-sided conduct. They will abide on the fifth ground. The first ten trainings have been completed, And because there is no separation from them, They abide in the conduct of equanimity and continuity. Those who abide on the sixth ground, See the truth of great wisdom, Because they do not perceive any conduct, They practice conduct that is in accordance with wisdom. The yogi who abides on the seventh ground, Because they are delighted to settle correctly within, They abide in extremely unwavering conduct. The yogi who abides on the eighth ground, With forceful conduct and the conduct of proliferation, They accept with equality, And accomplish the benefit of both self and others.

Those who dwell on the ground, enjoyments such as the five desires, without diminishing enjoyment, with realization as the main focus, complete the enjoyment of empowerment methods. In the supreme yoga of the ten grounds, in the conduct of the great being, in the spontaneously accomplished conduct, they abide in the conduct free from effort. The distinctions of the conduct of the three doors, and the enjoyment of food and drink, mainly used by those with initial karma, transform into commonality due to the change of meaning. One should not be separated from the five objects of enjoyment and constant activities, and the four vows. Extensively promising and proclaiming faults, examining both cause and nature. Whoever seeks something elsewhere, that one has entered a mistaken path. Obscured by the darkness of conceptual thought, whatever ignorance is, that is the obscuration. Conceptual thought itself is an obstacle, the obstacle arises from that itself. For whom there is no conceptual thought, where is the so-called demon? If asked from where does the demon arise, it always arises from effort. From the absence of effort, the demon does not arise, why is it that non-effort itself is the demon? Its faults and deviations are obscured, arising from seeing qualities as equal. If there is no equal seeing of qualities, where are the faults and deviations? That itself is fault and deviation obscuration, the knowledge of darkness and the knowledge of wrong desire. The knowledge of children and the knowledge of biased intellect, all the knowledge that acts on the middle and the extremes, turn into places of deviation from the vows themselves. Furthermore, the nine doors of downfall, obscure eighty-one realizations. For conceptual thought, only conceptual thought; for those with wrong desire, only wrong desire; merely clinging to a side is a nominal thing; to the knowledge of a side, it appears as illusion. The knowledge of those with darkness is, knowing this as the opposite. The knowledge of those with wrong desire is, speaking of names and desiring duality. The knowledge of children is, speaking of non-existence and desiring existence. The knowledge that knows towards a side is, the knowledge that appears as objectless knowledge itself. Desiring ultimate reality, instantaneous and partless, the knowledge that distinguishes definitively is, all objects are false appearances, mere illusions. Desiring ultimate reality, without inherent existence, if one seeks meaning without conceptualization, then taking a solitary and secluded place. With an intellect endowed with the three valid cognitions, after cutting off the traces of conceptual thought, searching for the gold of also and the middle way, like holding a monkey desiring realization, Kunmo Bei.
