A large tent of silk is pitched. Inside the large tent, large seba fish are spread out, and large red-striped snakes form a fence. Inside the large tent is a palace of precious coral. On a red lotus seat sits the king of the west, accompanied by retinues of nagas and mamos. Today, this worldly ransom is erected. To the north of the large tent, a green silk tent is pitched. Fierce large fish are spread out, and a fence of green snakes. Inside the large tent is a palace of turquoise. On a burning lotus seat sits the queen of the north, surrounded by retinues of nagas and mamos. Today, this worldly ransom is enjoyed. On the far side of the great ocean, in a palace of five precious substances, reside thousands of medicine women and mamos, thousands of land-owning nagas and fierce spirits, and wrathful, malicious ones. You are unbearable, malicious hosts. Today, enjoy this worldly offering. Thus, they are summoned in order. From the Great Tantra of the Thousand God-Demons' Net, the thirty-sixth chapter, "Healing the Ocean Woman." Then, before the Blessed One, one from each of the thousand substitutes spoke of their respective healing actions. The secret lord, possessing samadhi, having remained in a harmonious place, blesses the flour of thirteen grains in the proper manner. Then, a great Mount Meru is built, its color conforming to its type. A wish-fulfilling tree and a tent of sky are adorned with silk. A thousand and eight torma are adorned with a thousand and eight small arrows. To the east of that Mount Meru are a thousand and eight targets. To the south, a thousand and eight skies are erected. To the west, a thousand and eight birds are adorned with abundant grain. To the north are a thousand and eight dregs of chang and a thousand and eight effigies of demons. On a thousand horse skulls, a thousand castles are painted to the east. On a thousand mule skulls, a thousand castles are painted to the south. On a thousand sheep skulls, a thousand castles are painted to the west. On a thousand donkey skulls, a thousand castles are painted to the north. Furthermore, it is surrounded by horses, birds, dogs, white cows, and so forth. It is offered with the essence of flesh and blood and precious substances. Having thus accumulated, it is dedicated. Oṃ! The Taydrag are a thousand hosts, some rely on arising things. They are the lords of the thousand Taydrag of existence, the lords who run throughout the three thousand worlds, the lords of the Nule of all beings. Today, partake of the ransom of existence. The thousand Taydrag are of one root, some dwell in the thousand hosts of Bodhisattvas. Some are of the Deva god race, who hold wealth. Some are the sons of the wrathful demons, who perform the deeds of cutting demons. Some are the sons of the arrogant Tsen spirits, who send hail diseases. Some are the sons of the wealthy king, who perform the deeds of killing and cutting. Some are the sons of the demoness Mayam, who send epidemics. Some thousand hosts of Taydrag run in three places. Some perform the violence of the eight classes of harmful beings. Some are of the Yaksha flesh-eating race, who crave flesh and blood. Some are the thousand hosts of Jala, who are the messengers of the command. Some are of the harmful race of earth lords, who send harmful epidemics. All the thousand hosts of Taydrag, you are the runners in existence, who send epidemics and harm. Who send madness and smallpox. Today, partake of the ransom of existence. The eight are Bodhisattvas, the hosts of Bodhisattvas who dwell on the earth. Although you have no harm, your race is the elemental Taydrag, you also partake of this ransom of existence. Offer with clear light and radiance. The eight hosts are of the god race, on youthful and beautiful bodies, adorned with five precious ornaments. Riding on various mules, with gold saddles adorned with jewels. Adorned with five precious ornaments, holding wish-fulfilling jewels on their bodies. Some benefit beings, some harm beings. These are the Taydrag hosts, goddesses youthful and beautiful. Possessing wish-fulfilling jewels, dwelling in jeweled golden cities. Today, partake of the ransom of existence.
