Commoners enter through the door of wind, All Nagas cause illness at night. The four lineages, retinues, and outcasts, Through breath, touch, and sight, The six reside in the Naga of the outcasts. The poison seen by the outcasts Is a hot, downward-moving poison, Cherishing the wheel. It is not said that others can overcome it. From the Wheel of Nagas, The sixth chapter, explaining the abode of Nagas. Then Vajra Essence asked Manjushri: "All-pervading Lord of Great Wisdom, Approaching and accomplishing the Lord of Death, Life and effigy, the supreme slayer, Outer, inner, and secret, What is the wheel of black leprosy karma?" Thus he asked. It is said to be the lord of the Naga race. The surface of the ocean or water islands, Pleasure groves and monasteries, Mountain peaks or water's edge, Fierce and venomous Naga realms. Or rocky mountains and beautiful forests, Where birds and wild animals delight, Any secluded place that pleases the mind, Is an excellent place to be very close to. On a mandala that is level and pleasing, Sprinkle fragrant incense and medicinal powders. A wheel with four spokes and a rim, In the center of the four beautiful doors, Contemplate the king of lineages. From that very place comes the syllable Phet. (Tibetan: ཕེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: फेट, Sanskrit Romanization: pheṭ, Chinese literal meaning: Phet) Unfabricated wisdom, all-pervading Naga, With the syllable residing in the heart, Invite the mind to dwell in the heart. The wisdom mind is well shown, The syllable that protects the mind and sustains life, The four-syllable all-pervading syllable, I wish to explain that very wheel. Warmth shows the clarity of mind and meditation, Knowledge is majestic and the senses are clear, A little blissful wisdom.
