Also, the explanation of wisdom, apart from the cause of faults, there is no other explanation from elsewhere. Truly and surely indicating the meaning, without coming, going, or changing, it is in the Buddha's Bodhi. Unfabricated, unchanging, unadorned, it is in the wisdom's Dharma-nature. Unadulterated, unfound, equally abiding, it is in the equal wisdom. The cause of purity is clear from the beginning, the power of accomplishment arises from within. The path of liberation is established on the ground, the cause of knowledge is practiced in the mind. Goodness and the path are placed in the bindu. Samantabhadra, the Bhagavan, know this and abandon faults. The cause of faults is not inherently great. What is in accordance with the yoga and the Dharma? If you want to understand the greatness of the cause of faults, you should seek it from this chapter. From the Tantra of the Great Self-Existing Samantabhadra, the eighteenth chapter, the chapter on the cause of faults being inherently great. Then, the cause of merit being inherently great, thus it was said: In the nature of great merit, thus is explained the purity itself. The merits of all Buddhas arise from my mind, my body is immutable, my speech is unceasing, my mind is unfabricated, my actions are extraordinary, my play is skillful in means, my blessings are unconditioned, my power destroys grasping and concepts, I have no so-called "I", without self, without ego, without partiality, the wisdom free from grasping and concepts is vast, the wisdom free from permanence and annihilation arises. The merit is inherently great, there is no Buddha higher than this. Beyond the absence of samsara, there is not even the name of nirvana. In samsara itself, there is great merit. Beyond the absence of bad destinies, there is not even the name of higher realms. In the bad destinies themselves, there is great merit. Before the absence of sentient beings, there is not even the name of Buddha. In sentient beings themselves, there is great merit. Beyond the absence of afflictions, there is not even the name of wisdom. In afflictions themselves, there is great merit. Beyond the absence of phenomena, there is not even the name of Dharma-nature. In phenomena themselves, there is great merit. Completely pure, pure from the cause, the self-appearing result exists from the beginning. The nature of the noble ones is perfected in the cause. The body in which all Buddhas are gathered, this is the Tantra of great merit, it is the meaning of being inherently great, with all the Buddhas of the ten directions and Bodhi.

To the brave deities and all, Those with male, female, and neuter natures, Merely causes established by delusion, And for the sake of showing to those with inferior wisdom, They only appear to the deluded mind. In the nature of Samantabhadra, The nature of the mind of enlightenment, Is not male, female, or neuter. Not large or small, not a lineage, Not permanent or impermanent, not a characteristic. Not outer or inner, not a thing, There is no race or color to show. Not non-existent, but the meaning of essence, Understood by fortunate yogis. Clear to the mind that possesses meaning. In that which is completely pure by nature, There is no need to remedy or purify with antidotes. In that which is completely peaceful by characteristic, The powerful प्रमाण clearly reveals it as such. In that which is without separation of cause and effect, One grasps at characteristics and divides into categories. It contradicts meaning and is difficult to contemplate. If one's own mind is originally unborn, Then there is no place to transmigrate and change. There is also no ground to seek and accomplish. Not non-existent, but an unchanging body, In the very expanse without gathering and dispersing, There is no conceptualization of accepting or rejecting good or bad. No separation, large or small, no sequence, No characteristics of birth and death, Not non-existent, but a pervasive body. In the impartial conduct that does not differentiate, One enjoys oneself as the king of self-appearing methods. In the very space of the unconditioned, Unfabricated wisdom arises. In the nature of reality without grasping or conceptualization, The very nature of mind abides without seeking. In the mere abiding, there is no conceptualization. Not permanent, not annihilation, great bliss. Unchanging, effortless, naturally abiding, No self, no self-cherishing, no partiality, No big, no small, secret place, No good, no bad, great Samantabhadra. Unpracticed, as it is, clear in the expanse, Unborn, complete, therefore Dzogchen, Without effort, therefore unconditioned, Without aspiration, complete in itself. The three realms, container and contents, all without exception, Are the adornment of great bliss itself. In the pure land of great qualities, All without exception also become Buddhas. All phenomena that appear, In the very expanse of self-arisen purity, By becoming Buddhas in the pure space, Great qualities are thus clear. It is not accomplished with seeking, By leaving it unsearched, it is accomplished by seeking. Abandon the faults of imputation and characteristics, When all is completely vast in bliss, There is no small quality whatsoever. All are the qualities of Samantabhadra, There is no fault to be made, Extremely yogic.
