Whatever is known, listen carefully and truly. The nature of mind is unborn, the characteristic of mind is without substance, the fruit of mind is unconditioned, the body of mind is the Buddha, the speech of mind is thought, the mind of mind is understanding, the qualities of mind are unexhausted, the action of mind is spontaneous accomplishment. That is also the unchanging vajra, the vajra body of the noble ones. The vajra of the body is greatly majestic, the vajra of speech is greatly taught, the vajra of mind is greatly held, the vajra of qualities is greatly excellent, the vajra of action is greatly accomplished. There is no Buddha above that, who abides in this greatness? That yogi is fortunate, not fortunate, that is it itself. There is only one definite Buddha, on the level of definite meaning, what is the characteristic of mind like? Rest on it without fabrication, there is no greatness on it, truly and definitely rest on it. From the tantra of self-abiding in the greatness of Samantabhadra, the twelfth chapter on the body, speech, mind, qualities, and actions being inherently great. Then he taught about the inherent greatness of faults and qualities. In the realm of completely pure conduct, there is no fault or quality, if one does not realize that fault itself is pure, where can one find pure qualities? If one knows that fault itself is a quality, then there is nothing to abandon or remove. Beyond the abandonment of faults, there is not even the name of "Buddha." The Buddhas of the three times arise from faults, Vajrasattva is the son of faults. If one knows that fault itself is the Buddha, then there is not one that is not the Buddha. If quality itself is also a fault, then there is nothing to abandon. Whatever appears, in the actions of the Buddha, why should one criticize it? If one knows that the demon itself is the Buddha, then what is there to realize? Ignorance is also my bodhicitta, therefore ignorance is also correct. All delusion is also my bodhicitta, therefore delusion is also correct. All confusion is also my bodhicitta, therefore confusion is also correct. All deception is also my bodhicitta, therefore deception is also correct. All faults are also my bodhicitta, therefore faults are also correct. The five poisons are also my bodhicitta, therefore the five poisons are also correct. Samsara and the lower realms are also my bodhicitta.

Because it is mind, therefore samsara and the lower realms are also correct. In that way, all faults are also my Bodhicitta, so all faults are also correct. Awareness is also my Bodhicitta. Wisdom is also my Bodhicitta. Qualities are also my Bodhicitta. All goodness is also my Bodhicitta. Buddha is also my Bodhicitta. Sentient beings are also my Bodhicitta. Heaven and Nirvana are also my Bodhicitta. Before there were faults and qualities, there was not even the name of Buddha. If one knows that ignorance itself is awareness, then where does one seek awareness? If one knows that impurity itself is purity, then where does one seek purity? If one knows that faults themselves are virtues, then where does one seek virtues? If one knows that samsara itself is Nirvana, then where does one seek Nirvana? If one knows that the lower realms themselves are heaven, then where does one seek heaven? If one knows that mind itself is Buddha, then where does one seek Buddha? If one knows that cause itself is effect, then where does one seek effect? If one knows that conceptual thought itself is the Dharmadhatu, then where does one seek the Dharmadhatu? If one knows that faults themselves are qualities, then where does one seek qualities? If that is also one's own mind, then what reason is there to abandon and discard, and to accept and practice? Because faults are inherently great, they do not depend on the result at all. Because qualities are inherently great, they do not rely on the result. Because of the greatness of greatness, there is no name for smallness. Because it is the good of good, because it is the king of kings, there is no name for bad and attachment. Happy is the mind of the great being! Pure is the completely pure Bodhicitta! By applying oneself for one's own benefit, offer and respect oneself. Because one's own intention is self-illuminating, in the state of a completely pure great being. Yoga, the completely pure certainty, if repeated, shows certainty. This is the place of completely pure certainty. Whoever wants to seek, listen to this. From the lineage of abiding in itself in the great Samantabhadra, the thirteenth chapter, which is about faults and qualities being inherently great. Then, regarding samsara and the lower realms being inherently great, it was said thus: Before there was samsara, there was no such thing as Buddha. Before there were lower realms, the Tathagata did not dwell at all. The Buddha correctly taught that samsara is evil.
