Great is the wisdom of realization in that. Whoever's wisdom without thought is scattered, The actions of delusion and confusion are wrong. That which is wrong, not in accordance with meaning, Knows nothing, does not know the meaning. Realizes nothing, does not realize the meaning. Even Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, If one does not realize, that is their demon. Demons and all the wrong directions, Whoever realizes them is their deity. Draw forth the army of the king of views, Meet the battle without birth and death. Spontaneously arise without good or bad, Strike with a hammer without partiality. Utterly destroy phenomena and signs. The Buddhas of the five families refresh their minds. The king of realization has no regrets. The path is a near path, perfectly blissful, The path of Dharma-nature without contrivance. The ground is naturally spontaneously perfect, Samantabhadra without contrivance. Whoever abides in the nature of this meaning, Realization is greater and greater. Know the yogi who realizes the meaning, Wherever there is a yogi who holds the meaning, If you wish to seek great realization, Seek it in this chapter. From the Tantra of Self-Abiding in the Great Samantabhadra: The Twenty-Second Chapter, "Realization is Great from the Beginning." Then again, for those who wish to realize this Tantra of Self-Abiding in the Great Samantabhadra, hold in mind the meaning of these nine great self-abidings. What are they? Abiding in wisdom without cause and effect; all of samsara and nirvana abiding unarisen; all that is included in outer and inner, vessel and essence, abiding in the Dharmakaya; Buddhas and sentient beings abiding without duality; all of happiness and suffering abiding without contrivance; all of good and bad abiding without contrivance; all of high and low, great and small, abiding without contrivance; all of birth and death and change abiding without change; and all of acceptance and rejection, attachment and aversion, abiding without partiality. Abiding in wisdom without seeking cause and effect: The eighty-four thousand dharmas, And the dharmas of cause and effect, whatever vehicle is taught, Are secret, definite, and of one sphere, So there is no seeking and accomplishing in stages. Summer, winter, autumn, spring, and so on, Even the gradual teaching of cause and effect, Is because the three times do not change, So there is no teaching of cause and effect. If one's own mind is not the Buddha, A peach pit
