The chapter on abiding in its own place, that is, the twenty-sixth chapter. Then, the meaning of abiding in its own place without modifying happiness and suffering was explained. Happiness and suffering, the two are without existence, it is the wish of modifying according to one's own desires. The way it abides from the very beginning, is said to be the Ālaya, Samantabhadra. Like the sky, it is primordially clear, since there is no duality of thought and non-thought, there is no need to search for higher realms and lower realms. Realizing this is the realm of children. The mind of the nature of no-self, from the very beginning, in Samantabhadra, just like there is no purity and impurity, happiness and suffering appear as thoughts. One's own mind is of the nature of change, it is bad, happiness and suffering appear in sequence. Since the nature of the mind is unchanging, even if you search for happiness and suffering, you will not find them. If everything is one's own mind, then suffering itself is also the realm of happiness. Since it is self-born wisdom, then the lower realms themselves are also Buddha-fields. Since it is spontaneously accomplished in equality, there is no need to search for directions and factions. Unmodified, it is Samantabhadra from the very beginning, there is no duality of happiness and suffering. Bodhicitta itself is great bliss, since the cause itself is pure, the result is great. Since it transcends words and letters, it is the spontaneously accomplished self-abiding that needs no searching. From the tantra of the great Samantabhadra abiding in its own place, the chapter on abiding in its own place without searching for happiness and suffering, that is, the twenty-seventh chapter. Then again, the meaning of abiding in its own place without good and bad, and purity and impurity was explained. Like the sun of wisdom rising in the dark swastika of ignorance, in the nature of thought and non-thought, the Bodhicitta is clear, there is no good and bad. Just like in the nature of great nectar, there is no duality of poison and nectar, in the nature of Bodhicitta, there is not even the name of faults and virtues. There is no bad itself and good, all faults become virtues themselves. There is no purity from impurity, poison itself is the nature of nectar, therefore, holding the meaning of non-duality, it is pure from the very beginning. In the absence of action and meaning, searching for action is extremely foolish. Unmodified, it is pure in the bindu from the very beginning. The Dharma of grasping existence in non-existence, is like dividing the sky. Since the lifespan is not accomplished on karma, do not strive for yoga elsewhere. Meaningless sophistry, following after sound for the sake of sound. Not grasping the essential points of the definitive vehicle, understanding the definitive instructions as thoughts. Such meaningless ones wander in bad places. Therefore, the unchanging Bodhicitta, complete.

Whatever is practiced in this state, is none other than Samantabhadra himself, without any distinction between good and impure. Instructions: In the realm of meaningfulness, the essence of non-distraction of mind, the yogi who practices in this way, abides in the state of Buddhahood. From the Tantra of Abiding in the Great Samantabhadra, the twenty-eighth chapter, Abiding without Good, Bad, or Impure, is complete. Then, without high or low, great or small, without effort, this abiding is specifically spoken of. The levels of vehicles, high and low, and the realization of wisdom, great and small, are like the movements of a dancer's hands, appearing in various ways, yet ultimately nonexistent. If the nature is not determined as one, then body, speech, and mind also appear separately. If knowledge does not become one, then the mind of enlightenment is also understood separately. If there is nothing other than Suchness, even if dissimilar forms appear, there is no equality in wisdom itself. Words and letters are beyond expression. The thousand worlds of emptiness, the realm of space, as vast as they are without end, and sesame seeds, horsehair split into ten parts, have no size in the unborn realm. The ground of all, unoriginated and unborn, is primordially pure. The great Buddha is not adorned, nor can it be adorned by small sentient beings. Since all phenomena are enlightened in the mind, they can be transformed as desired. Nirvana and the phenomena of samsara abide without great or small. From the Tantra of Abiding in the Great Samantabhadra, the twenty-ninth chapter, Abiding without High or Low, Great or Small, is complete. Then, without birth, death, or change, without seeking, abiding in wisdom, this is spoken of. In mind, phenomena, and space, since there is no cause for the first arising, there is no death, change, or alteration in the end. Likewise, there is no beginning or end. Past, future, and present, when will the final word become eternal? Since there is no time in the three times, there is no before or after, but purity from the beginning. Moments, instants, and eons, showing distinctions of long and short, although the confusion of conceptual thought may appear, the nature of phenomena does not appear to change with time. Likewise, lifespan and so on, although counted with bodiless numbers, are like victory, defeat, and slaughter in a dream. Measuring with numbers and lengths is a mistake. Even if my eons are counted, there is no change from the very beginning. Even if distinctions of edge, center, and direction appear,
