These are the obstructing Khadros of practice. The characteristics of being struck by vows are like this: the face of a wolf, the corners of the eyes are red, with tear marks, the voice is small and hoarse, able to frighten other beings. Like a bear, the body is brownish-black, with long limbs. The body of a monkey, with red lips, a long tongue, and many actions. Like a tiger, the face is red, fond of red flesh and blood. Small in size, like a bat, with bad omens, the corners of the eyes are red. The nails are like milk, the fingers are slender and long. Even if the vows are broken, they can engage in union with proper conduct. Engaging in intercourse at inappropriate times and feeling pleasure. The essence is the sentient beings gathered by plunder, after abandoning the body, consciousness wanders in the sky by the power of karma. Karma can be understood as being divided into internal and external. The cat has four kinds of lazy karma: existence, formation and destruction, the karma of the first kalpa. The four seasons of the year, the karma of the four elements. Winter is cold, spring melts, summer grows, autumn ripens. The karma of the four great elements is: hardness is earth, moisture is water, warmth is fire, movement is wind. Internal karma has two distinctions: causing birth and causing death. In the place of the eight great mothers, each place is inhabited by one hundred thousand retinues. The black messenger resides in the northeast direction. In Jambudvipa (Southern Continent) there are twenty-one thousand places. Black mountain peaks, broken cliffs, exist in seven lakes. The kinds of demons all reside in such places. The color of the mountain peaks is red, as unpleasant as raw meat. The place where the Rakshasa race of Khadros reside. The ground is hot, the boiling water of hell. The place where the Yama of karma and others reside. A crocodile-like mouth, a tree where many rivers converge.
