That is the situation. There are many different explanations of the 'basis'. In terms of essence, definition, divisions, and examples, there are four each. The essence is a single bindu.

It will become a fault. The essence is not established, and the basis of representation is absent. Self-nature is naturally liberated, without acceptance or rejection. The basis for combining with various things, etc., is clear in the realm of the two sixes individually. These are just a brief indication, the stages of sentient beings' minds. The faultless primordial purity is the fundamental basis. That primordial first Buddha does not abide in samsara or nirvana. Possessing characteristics, mode of abiding, and distinctions, it is endowed with the three kayas and three wisdoms. Primordial purity, spontaneously accomplished, is all-pervasive. The fundamental essence is inexpressible. There is no superimposition, terminology, or grasping. There are no Buddhas, sentient beings, or dharmas. There is no liberation or non-liberation, realization or non-realization. The primordial protector abides in a realm beyond extremes. It is the mode of abiding of the sole self-abiding. In the pure Dharmakaya, the basis of abiding, the way of perfecting wisdom is as follows: Wind, awareness, and space, the three, all activities are accomplished by wisdom, which abides as an indivisible unity. Wisdom is not moved by the wind. In the stainless, naked awareness, there is no name of ignorance's existence. The count of one and two is exhausted. Wisdom, the nature of reality, is devoid of a basis for imputation. Therefore, its abilities and qualities are unimpeded, and space is clear and empty, without addition or subtraction. Accomplishing activity, wisdom is its own radiance. The essence of the five wisdoms, a shimmering green light, is the essence of awareness, the play of the expanse of phenomena. The basis is without movement, clear in the expanse of accomplishing activity, wisdom. That which is knowledge condensed into essence is not moved by the two, wind and awareness. It abides in the great perfection. This explains the distinctions of the basis. A similar example is as follows: Empty, vast, pervasive, it abides like space. Stainless, clear, pure, transparent, it abides like a stainless crystal. From the beginning, it is unborn, without a root. In the three times, timeless, it abides in emptiness. Without a place of arising, it is empty of cause. Without a place of birth, it is empty of conditions. Without cessation, it is empty of essence. Without form, it is empty of substance. Without beginning or end, its nature is empty. Without thought or movement, its characteristic is empty. Without inside or outside, grasping is empty. Without things, it is eternally empty. Without cessation, it is empty of annihilation. Without edge or center, both are empty. Abandoning the stain of faults, faults are empty. Without abandoning faults and errors, antidotes are empty. From the beginning, primordial purity, self is empty. Not

All powers are clear in the expanse. The clear ocean abides like the sky. The Buddha teaches sentient beings, before the unformed beginning, is the state of all-pervading wisdom, and the way of abiding of the initial ground. Having said this, he remained spontaneously in the expanse of primordial purity. Samaya, gya gya gya! From the Great Vastness Tantra, the essence of all vehicles, the chapter on showing the way of abiding of the primordial ground is the second. Then, Vajrasattva asked Samantabhadra, saying: Although you have spoken well, profoundly, and extensively about the prior state of the initial ground, and the state of all-pervading wisdom, please speak about how the three realms revolve in the unmistaken appearance. In response to this request, the teacher himself said: Listen, Vajrasattva and others, and all you unimpeded wheels of power. There is no error in the words I have taught. Without mistake, without error, also keep it in mind. You should keep all of this in your mind. Kyeho! As above, although there is no mistake in the ground, the mistake of samsara and nirvana is shown as the way of flowing from the expanse of the ground. From the difference between the ground and the knowledge of the ground, samsara and nirvana are separated. Without doing even a hair's breadth of good, one is primordially manifest as a Buddha. Without doing even a hair's breadth of evil, one wanders in the three realms and six classes of beings. That is also the first primordial state, the self-arisen wind of the wisdom of the ground, the naked awareness of the ground, the clear emptiness of the sky of the ground, the four wisdoms of the spontaneously accomplished ground, the nature of indivisible oneness, abiding like congealed yogurt. Upon that, this movement occurred: The wisdom wind lifted the awareness, the awareness saw the door and opened the sky, the power of spontaneously accomplished awareness did not cease, moving or not moving, moving slightly, flowing or not flowing, flowing slightly. Although there is no movement on the ground, movement arose from the power of awareness. That flowing is called mind. That is also the power of spontaneous compassion, first like golden steam, or the breath of a small bird, or the causeless trembling of a bird, or a small part of a horse's tail split into a hundred parts. Awareness itself also transforms into mind, called co-emergent ignorance, the unreal container is opened and lies dormant, the essence transcends the alaya, the nature is the aiding condition of delusion. The ground's
