When light and five colors, fifteen gathered at once, it is called the Buddha who descends from primordial purity. When one knows its state, it is called the Buddha who is primordially as it is. When one knows its characteristics, it is called the Buddha who is spontaneously accomplished in nature. When one knows its way of realization, it is called the Buddha who has realized manifest realization. In the appearance of the essence of reality, the body of the essence of reality appears, from the very beginning it is Buddha (Sanskrit: बुद्ध,buddha,Buddha, Awakened One). Because everything is spontaneously accomplished at the base, possessing the nature of the five Buddhas, transcending the extremes of permanence and annihilation, self-liberated, purifying the stains of the edge, transcending causeless origination. Spontaneously accomplished, liberated from hope and doubt. Because it is primordially pure, it is liberated from everything. Because there is no self-grasping, it is liberated from afflictions. Because there is no grasper and grasped, consciousness is liberated. Because there is no birth and death, the five gates are liberated. Because there is no fabrication or adulteration, conceptualization is liberated. Because there is no impurity, the four elements are liberated. Luminosity, clarity, emptiness, possessing the five bodies, this is the way of abiding of the base. The great wisdom of the Dharmakaya possesses three characteristics, essence, nature, and great compassion, are the characteristics of the Dharmakaya. Imperishable, emptiness, clarity, and the perfection of all activities, are the characteristics of the Dharmakaya. Immutable, unceasing, and pervasive, are the definitions of the Dharmakaya. Clarity, purity, and non-mixture are the realms of the Dharmakaya. Immeasurable, without object, without grasping, are the places of the Dharmakaya. Without cessation, without attachment, without clinging, are the activities of the Dharmakaya. Relaxed, clear, without distraction, is the meditation of the Dharmakaya. Nothing to see, already seen, view perfected, is the view of the Dharmakaya. Unmade, unborn, no place of origin, is the fruit of the Dharmakaya. Nothing to accomplish, already accomplished, free from accomplishment, is the activity of the Dharmakaya. One arises, two arise, everything arises, are the qualities of the Dharmakaya. Without cessation, clear emptiness, empty in essence, is the appearance of the Dharmakaya. Without outer, without inner, not in the expanse, is the self-nature body of the Dharmakaya. Without going, without coming, without abiding, is the self-characteristic of the Dharmakaya. Sun and moon, lotus, ocean, crystal, are the symbols of the Dharmakaya. The wisdom of the Dharmakaya abides in this way. The five-five wisdoms of the Sambhogakaya, if divided, are inconceivable, colors unmixed.

Oh, clearly manifest. Names and marks blaze with light. Holding the form of father and mother's bodies, Is the form of the Sambhogakaya. Unborn, undying, Vajra body, Five lights, five bodies, five wisdoms. Five fathers, five mothers, five families, Endowed with five pure land cognitions. Five grounds, five paths, five fruits, Five places, five realms, five essences, Is the essence of the Sambhogakaya. Enjoying by abiding in the nature of Dharma, Enjoying by being clear, unmixed, and pervasive, Enjoying by being inseparable from skillful means and wisdom, Enjoying by being unbearable to look at with divine power, Using without grasping in its own place, Using by being clear, distinct, and equal, Using by abiding and emanating emanations, Using by perfecting the purpose of the body and playing, Playing and using by self-arising dissolving into itself, Perfected by transcending all actions. Perfected by abiding in the meaning of no object of focus. Perfected by being without partiality, coming, and going. Perfected by being self-arising without effort. Perfected by spontaneously accomplishing the five bodies without abandonment. Because it is clear and empty, primordially perfected, Because it holds ornaments and attire, Because it is adorned with body and bindus, Because it is radiant with light and color, Because the five poisons of ignorance are purified, Because grasping is purified in its own place, it is the Body. Because compassion arises from all appearances, it is the Body. Because it is clear in the expanse of wisdom, it is the Body. Because it is unobstructed and unborn, it is the Body. Because there is no self-grasping of being 'I', it is the Body. This is the way the spontaneously accomplished Sambhogakaya abides. The way the compassionate Nirmanakaya abides is: Action is completed and action is done. Because outer and inner actions are completed, It is the Nirmanakaya of completed action. In whatever way one needs to be tamed, It appears there in a way that is harmonious. The sun rays of compassion pervade all, Being able to appear to all beings, This is the way the Nirmanakaya abides. The self-power of wisdom pervades the ten directions. The essence of the three bodies is one, Possessing the nature of the three wisdoms. Abiding in its own essence as one. The essence does not change in the three times, The nature is always unceasing, Compassion is self-appearing to all. Essence, nature, and, The appearance of compassion as well, Appear to those who are intelligent. Because the essence is not established in anything, The nature of appearance appears clearly, In the aspect of compassion, there are two wisdoms, Arising without doing and being done, Self-arising, self-appearing, self-liberating. Before realization and non-realization, Buddhas and sentient beings were not separate. That way of abiding of the nature of things, Is the ground.
