I shall become united. The Bodhicitta abides upright, steadfast, and familiar. It is necessary to cultivate and enhance that very thing, Like the sun rising in the sky, it is clear. Whatever encounters arise in appearance, they are just that. Know that the characteristics of grasping and being grasped are self-liberated. Mind itself is left as it is, without memory, in its own place. Like the ocean, it is profoundly deep and without movement. Like the flow of a river, the stream of awareness is непрерывно. Like a vajra, the samadhi is unmoving and unchanging. Whether faculties are sharp or dull, gradually or simultaneously, All the distinctions of meditation arise from practice. They are revealed and taught from the expanse of Samantabhadra's heart. Meditation is a vast and expansive space. From the Great Perfection Innermost Essence Tantra, the quintessence of all vehicles, The forty-fourth chapter, which reveals the meaning of meditation from the expanse. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Then, the Bodhisattva Vajra Strength inquired: O Ocean of Conquerors, Samantabhadra, In the great expanse of the pure dharmadhatu, Explain the meaning of what to do and not to do, the conduct of body, speech, and mind, And the meaning of effortless spontaneity. The Bhagavan replied: Having realized the meaning of the view of the Great Perfection Innermost Essence, By abiding in the state of such meditation, The conduct of body, speech, and mind is the expanse of Samantabhadra. Although vast and expansive, free from all fabrication and seeking, If practiced with the view as a guide, everything is good. Although not moving from the state of the dharmadhatu and wisdom, The skillful means and compassionate activities are inconceivable. However many activities there are, all are inconceivable, Practice all conduct with skill and confidence. Although there is no intentional fabrication, there is no restriction in meaning, Liberate through non-action, and liberate beings. Everything is permissible, all conduct is permissible, practice the great self-nature. Here, there are no ascetic practices or mantras. Because of non-action, all activities are abandoned. Spontaneously accomplished, without acceptance or rejection, it is the expanse of self-arising. Conduct is like an ocean, purifying all, In all times and circumstances, exert effort and practice. Abandon all disgusting behaviors and so on. Although there is no intentional fabrication, there is no restriction in meaning, Completely abandon all contradictory behaviors. Abandon ascetic practices like those of a madman, The conduct of body, speech, and mind should be free from effort. What is the use of being bound by purifying conduct? However, even in all virtuous Dharma practices, Without attachment, Liberation will be attained through unwavering strength. Sa

On the very basis of conduct that can be practiced, one acts without abandoning the attachment to non-existence. On the great basis of conduct that cannot be practiced, one acts without abandoning the attachment to existence. On the basis of both conduct that can and cannot be practiced, one acts without abandoning the attachment to non-duality. On the basis of conduct that practices non-duality, one acts without abandoning the attachment to both. In short, on the basis of whatever appears and arises, one is liberated into conduct by the force of not abandoning attachment. In the state of vast expanse, all-encompassing and pervasive, in general, the Great Vehicle is the realm where the ten bhumis are gathered. Because it is gathered into one, there is no high or low. Because there is no high or low, there is no narrowness or width. Because it is free from edges and center, one acts without inside or outside. Because there is no birth or cessation, it is the realm of conduct in the three times. Because there are no three times, it is vast without birth or death. No matter how much appears, there is not even a speck of movement. It is the intention of Samantabhadra. Having said this, in the realm of the three kayas that are not different from oneself, the body is enlightened in the essence of indeterminacy, speech is enlightened in the spontaneously accomplished empty sound, and mind is enlightened in the unborn, primordial purity. From the tantra of the Great Perfection, the essence of all vehicles, the forty-fifth chapter, the chapter on the vast ocean of conduct, is complete. Samaya. Seal, seal, seal. Then, Vajrasattva again asked the teacher: "O, O, Teacher Samantabhadra, if view, meditation, conduct, and result are like this, then, for this great Ati, due to the differences in the minds of sentient beings, please explain whether there are any places to go astray? The assembled retinue is happy to listen." Having asked, the teacher compassionately replied: "Ah, Vajrasattva, the places to go astray in view and meditation are: if one clings to emptiness, one will go astray into the four formless realms. If one clings to things as being substantial, one will go astray into the seventeen realms of the form realm, and one will go astray like a stone. If one clings to appearances like a flowing stream as being permanent, one will be bound by great attachment and will go astray into the places of the six realms. There are three places to go astray in conduct. Like this, for all appearances, if one acts like a madman, one will go astray into the infinite like the sky. In reality, the Dharma of Nirvana is very important, and one will go astray like a heretic. If one does not value the practice of Dharma, cause, and effect, one will go astray into the ranks of ordinary people."
