Those confusions such as "ga", are the lineage of the Sugatas, therefore, they are properly called "Vidyāmantra". The essence of reality is one foundation, the essence is called great connection, it is the connection of samsara and nirvana. Therefore, it is properly called "Dhāraṇīmantra". The essence of the Buddha is sentient beings, to oneself it is inherent, to oneself it is secret, because oneself does not recognize oneself, therefore, it is properly called "Secret Mantra". Everything is the essence of reality itself, reality is un fabricated, without bias, without limit, it is self-arisen, therefore, it is properly called "Essence Mantra". The essence of connection is the universal reality, the definition of connection is connected with everything, the distinction is these four mantras. Like the five similarities such as the net, it is said. From the Tantra of the Complete Perfection of the Root of All Body, Speech, and Mind Vajra, the thirteenth chapter of the connection essence definition combined with mantra. Vajradhara said: Listen, Vajradhara, etc., the displayed fruit of illusion, in general, has no essence. Initially, there is no place of origin, it is emptiness, emptiness has no front and back, for example, the sky has no boundaries, in general, it is not the essence, not clinging to characteristics, it is supreme, for what is not that self? There is no desire, it is just a false name, it is self-arisen and self-manifested, there is no other manifestation, not clinging to characteristics, it is object manifestation, object manifestation exists, but oneself does not have it, there is no characteristic, it is said. After saying this, he said to Vajrapani: Vajrapani, where did these eight illusory dharmas initially arise from? Where do they reside in the middle? Where do they go in the end? Thus he said. Vajrapani replied: Illusion initially arises from dependent origination, in the middle it resides in the confusion of the eyes and senses, and in the end it goes to the conventional truth. After replying thus, the teacher said again: How does illusion arise from dependent origination? How are the senses confused in the middle? How is it true in the conventional? Thus he said. Vajrapani said: Illusion also initially arises from the dependent origination of matter and mantra, in the middle it is wonderful due to the confusion of the senses, and in the end it is conventional, so it will not last forever. After replying thus, Vajradhara said: What is matter? What is wonderful? What is conventional? What is true? Vajrapani replied again: Matter is the four elements, wonderful is the senses.

Fifth. Conventional truth is illusion. Thus he requested. Vajradhara spoke: From what do the four elements of Vajrapani arise? On what sense does he hold? Is illusion real? Thus he spoke. Vajrapani again said: The four elements arise from space. Holding the characteristics of the senses is real. Illusion is real for sentient beings. Thus he requested. Vajradhara spoke: Holder of the vajra, from what does space arise? What characteristics does he hold? Thus he spoke. Vajrapani requested: Alas! Alas! Protector of beings! If one does not measure, does not seek, does not understand, then there is no place of arising. Confused by characteristics. Conventional truth is not real, ultimate truth is coarse. Thus he requested. Protector of beings, Vajra, spoke: Listen, holder of the vajra, you. Good, good, son of the lineage. Initially, illusion has no arising. In the middle, illusion has no place of dwelling. In the end, illusion has no place of going. That illusion has no visibility. For example, the illusionist and the apprentice of illusion, and the assembled market, etc., what is seen is twofold. What is seen is different, the object of holding is twofold. Tigers and lions, foxes, etc., appear in various forms. The illusionist has no seeing. The apprentice of illusion knows it is an illusion. He knows fear and shame, attachment and hatred. Ordinary people hold fear and dread, and attachment and hatred, and play as real. For the illusionist who performs illusion, neither the object nor the subject is established. The apprentice of illusion knows the instruction. Ordinary people see attachment and hatred as real things. Holding things as real is the dharma of illusion. Because it is illusion, it does not exist. That illusion has no desire. Illusion has no characteristics, therefore it has no characteristics. Illusion is emptiness, therefore it is emptiness itself. The reality of illusion is nothing at all. The appearance of illusion is nothing at all. Not one, nor anything at all. Likewise, the four—movement of thought, memory, clinging, and attachment—are nothing at all, nor are there four. The uncreated essence has no change at all. Memory is nothing at all, nor is there memory. The essence does not fall to any side, it is nothing at all. The essence has no self-arising. Initially, the movement of thought has no place of arising. In the middle, the movement of thought and memory have no place of dwelling. In the end, the movement of thought and memory have no place of going. There is no place of arising, severing the bond of the base. No object, no separation, nothing at all. Thus he spoke. In the tantra of body, speech, and mind, the two doors, illusion, question and answer, movement of thought exist.
