The path of my great and excellent one is inconceivable, beyond realization. It does not abide, has no object of attachment, and is free from all thoughts. Words cannot express it, and shapes and colors are not objects of the senses. It is difficult to point out and examine, and there is not even a particle of description. All Buddhas of the past, present, and future, in order to make beings not understand the true meaning, but in a guiding way, turned the wheel of Dharma, and proclaimed countless sectarian differences, but no matter what they said for the benefit of beings, they did not fully express the self-nature of the mind. Self-nature transcends words and letters. Thus it is said. Question: Is the meaning of the stake of the Dharma-nature Bodhicitta completely incomprehensible? Answer: Letters do not appear in everything, but they appear clearly in the mind. For those who are fortunate, self-awareness is the great and sacred letter. Words, words, truth, bliss, also bliss, experience, experience, the fruit of patience, transcends letters, and is not written in words. Thus it is said. Question: If the meaning of the stake of Bodhicitta cannot be understood, then what is the use of words and letters? Answer: Because there is no thing, there is no emptiness. The Dharma-possessor does not observe, and Dharma-nature is not existence. In order to eliminate attachment, causes and conditions are explained, but not understood. In the self-nature of Dharma, there are no words, and it cannot be described. Saying that there is no arising is also to eliminate attachment to things. As it is, the Dharma is firm, and Dharma does not enter into Dharma. No matter how profound the words are spoken, they will not correspond to the meaning. Thus it is said. Question: The stake of Bodhicitta transcends words, so how does the sign of realization appear? Answer: Appearance has no self-nature, like the moon in water, a mirage. It is also not non-existent, nor is it existent. Transcending both existence and non-existence, from non-self-nature, one remembers existence. The sign of realization with great wisdom abides in equality like space. The sign of pervasion with great wisdom is unshakable, abides in equality, and is not fabricated. The sign of accomplishment with great wisdom is non-attachment, and uses skillful means to benefit all. For the great realized one, if one practices without realization, there will be no great merit. Thus it is said. Question: When is it necessary to realize the meaning of the stake of Bodhicitta? Answer: Do not value erudition, value realization. The erudite person has no words, like arid land.

. When realization comes, the nature of reality arrives like wind. Realization is more important than practice. If one does not become realized, practice is done in the continuation of realization. Meditation is meditating in the weariness of signs, and effort is striving in afflictive emotions and attachment. Thus it was said. Question: What are the field of activity and qualities of the realization of the stake of bodhicitta? Answer: If examined with purity, everything is good. If thought about with realization, anything is accomplished. All pure actions are not things that are clearly pure, but are pure in the very appearance and use. Thus it was said. Question: How is it that everything is pure in the nature of the stake of bodhicitta? Answer: Like this, in all appearances, even though signs are seen with direct perception, there is no object in the appearance itself. Likewise, realize it correctly in suchness. Seeing is just seeing, seeing in the completely pure realm. Hearing is just hearing, hearing the definitive meaning in the oral instructions. Feeling is just feeling, feeling without a root. Experiencing is just experiencing, experiencing without fabrication. Touching is just touching, touching without change. Dharma is just Dharma, Dharma in the completely pure realm. Diseases that are completely seized by mantras cannot harm everything. With the realization of skillful means and wisdom, the three poisons and suffering will not cause harm. If not seized by skillful means, even the virtuous deeds and stages of the path will only lead to birth in the heavenly realms and as humans, and one will not attain the state of no birth and death. By seizing with skillful means and compassion, even if one kills all sentient beings with uninterrupted karma with bodhicitta and compassion, one will obtain immeasurable merit. From the difference of the realization of wisdom, no matter which of the four activities one engages in, one will not die and will perfect liberation. Seeing with view but without realization, naturally self-arisen and spontaneously present, will not decline. Where could there be a mistake in that? Thus it was said. Question: How does the realization of the stake of bodhicitta purify obscurations? Answer: Like that, with the power of knowing, all the darkness of habitual patterns will be cleared away. Just as the wind gathers dust, in an instant, with samadhi, the accumulation of obscurations will be swept away. Just as a lamp dispels darkness, the darkness itself will turn into light. By realizing the meaning of an instant, one can dispel the darkness accumulated from the past. By meditating on the wonderful bodhicitta, beings will quickly
