Possessing earth and power, possessing the name of turning the wheel, possessing a fragrant body, is the Buddha who possesses the wheel. Great in wisdom and possessing qualities, skilled in the places of craftsmanship and knowledge, qualities are vast, conduct is good, having compassion for Vajra brothers and sisters, is called the Lama of Holding Jewels. Constantly diligent in recitation, gentle in speech, comfortable in throat, skilled in singing, speaking truthfully, constantly delighted in teaching the Dharma, clear in words, red in color, is called the Lama of the Lotus One. Not ignorant in the work to be done, and also obtains freedom in all actions, possessing diligence, faculties are clear, able to fulfill the deficiencies of actions, is the Lama of various actions. Possessing all qualities, and not ignorant of all Dharmas, is the general Lama of the Mandala. Is the one who has abandoned the nine faults, is the one who possesses the nine qualities, is called the inner Lama of practice. The characteristics of each of them are, if one abides in the state of equality, then there is nothing that cannot be accomplished. The nature of everything is mind, therefore there is nothing to be taken or abandoned in this. Outer and inner vessels and contents are all mind, therefore how one abides is how one is happy. Because one abides in the meaning without error, one should practice the behavior of a wise person. When refuting the weaknesses of others, one should practice like a madman. In order to destroy impure thoughts, one should practice the behavior of dogs and pigs. For those who possess the vessel of lineage, one should practice the unerring Dharma nature. Furthermore, with vast and immeasurable means, one should practice the behavior that is appropriate. Aggregates, elements, and sources, as well as objects, faculties, and consciousness, all are the great Mandala of the Victorious Ones. Both inner and outer are pure, all actions complete the two accumulations. Having received the empowerment of ability and benefit, as well as all the empowerment of the activities of practice, may their intentions be completely fulfilled. By obtaining the profound empowerments, the work done is not wasted. The differences in the function of activities, as well as the order of each practice, with the differences of benefit and harm to oneself and others, one should do whatever actions are appropriate. Separating with the order of intelligence, entering gradually or entering simultaneously. For the actions of oneself and others, the realization of non-duality is extremely important for anyone. With the wisdom of listening, thinking, and meditating, thinking about the faults of bad vessels, one should know, be stable, and be familiar. Samadhi is stable.

If a foolish person accomplishes a task without discernment, it is said that all inner and outer siddhis will be achieved according to what is focused upon. Because it has become without a foundation, one should uphold the vows above all else. Since it emerges from beginning to end with this, one should especially cherish and protect the supreme vows. Furthermore, it is not the task of everyone who does not conform to the meaning. One with little learning and no secret instructions, great attachment and timidity, even if they undertake this work, it will not succeed, and they will be afflicted by the disease of conceptualization. By breaking vows and disobeying commands, merely threatening and clinging, hoping to achieve will not succeed, and one will lose one's own fruit. If the nature of reality has not entered the mind, and one is deceitful due to small views, and the command seal has not been given, and empowerment has not been received, even if one undertakes this work, it will not succeed, and there will be great danger and risk to life. One who does not fear sin and is separated from the path of compassion, even if they act, will not obtain results. Therefore, internal activities should be undertaken by those who possess wisdom and experience. The secret teacher of Vajrabhairava should be familiar with the secret Dharma, skilled in hidden signs and methods. Inwardly and outwardly, they should be as heavy as gold in the wind, diligent and quick-witted, with little impurity and skilled in activities, complete in faculties and learned. Abandon the faults that are the opposite of these, and they are said to be a secret and supreme guru. That guru with valid lineage should also cherish examining the qualities of the disciple. One who is unwavering in faith, abides by vows, can endure adversity, has tamed the mind, and upholds the oral instructions and prophecies of the guru. A retinue that is accomplished by Vajradhara, with great respect for the guru and fellow disciples. One with a beautiful body, possessing marks and signs, all limbs being very skillful, is a retinue of the wheel. One who delights in wealth and precious jewels, and also makes offerings to the guru, and whose conduct is very upright, is a retinue of the jewel. One who has abandoned all lies and slander, delights in songs and music, has tamed speech, and abandoned harsh words, is a retinue of the lotus. One who is brave, intelligent, and clear, diligent in work and skilled in Dharma, and who fulfills the guru's intentions, is a retinue of various activities. Or one who possesses all qualities, is respected by all, and whose conduct is upright, is auspicious in the common mandala.
