Draw the mandala of the sun on one, and draw the mandala of the moon on the other. Write secret mantras in their center, the materials are as mentioned above. Light radiates from it, visualize skillful means and wisdom, and both mandalas are clearly visible. In the Dharmadhatu, it is only the accomplishment to be achieved. Think of being completely filled with the light of (wisdom). If even an angry Buddha cannot stop it, what need is there to mention fierce demons? This is called guarding with fierceness. Light a large sesame oil lamp, covering it from above with a lotus vessel. Fully absorb the smoke from there, and thoroughly mix it with the five elixirs. On wheat or tree bark, with a bone pen from the charnel ground, write the king of secret mantras. Place it inside an unopened vase, and recite the mantra. Recite each grain one hundred and eight times. Then offer praise and entrust the activity. Grind mustard seeds with the smoke of guggul incense. Wrap it in charnel ground cloth, and wear it around the neck with an angry mind. It cannot be stopped in any way. This is guarding with a great secret mantra. Then on that charnel ground cloth, with poison and fire-touched hot water, fully draw a Dharma wheel. What needs to be placed there is: the assembly of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) and Ja and Bhyo. Clearly write each of their seed syllables. Clearly view the complete body there, and in the center, visualize the name and lineage. Then place the deities. The secret mantra there is the Hari syllable. It has the characteristic of reciting a million times. With this and light, guard it. Praise the mandala and make it abide. It cannot be stopped in any way. This is called guarding with a mandala.
