This is the third chapter, the chapter of the gods. Then, the glorious Mahakala asked the Bhagavan: "What is the special ritual for accomplishing the meaning of the tantra?" The Bhagavan replied: "If you wish to accomplish the meaning of the tantra with certainty, drawing the mandala of Mahakala and consecrating it will lead to accomplishment." Thus the Bhagavan spoke. Mahakala asked: "Bhagavan, how is the mandala drawn?" The Bhagavan replied: "The place, the drawing of the mandala, the practice, and the three meanings." Thus the Bhagavan spoke. Then, there is another explanation: In a black place in a charnel ground, in an empty, three-cornered shaped place, the mandala should be drawn inside. There, a twelve-year-old girl, appearing as a yogini, should be bathed, and her body marked with the five elixirs. Then, all the yoginis should bless her with the mantra: Om Mahakalaya Sarva Yogini Kaya Vaga Citta Tistha Vajra Prabeshaya Hum Hum Phat Phat Svaha. Then, from the southwest corner, take soil from the riverbank or ashes from a cremation site, and bless it with the mantra and elixir: Om Mahakalaya Hum Bibi Shodhaya Hum Hum Phat Phat Svaha. Then, the mandala should be drawn with charnel ground colors, such as bones from the charnel ground, and lines should be drawn with human hair thread. A white skull and a black curved knife should be placed. Then, the yogi, possessing the meditation of the glorious Mahakala, should generate the mandala of Mahakala and the assembly of dakinis through three rituals, and then dissolve the mandala that arose from the sky. Then, offerings and tormas should also be made, and special offerings should also be made with samaya substances and the like. Likewise, one should possess meditation at three times, and in twenty-one days, the glorious Mahakala will be seen directly. Thus the Bhagavan spoke. Then, Mahakala again asked: "Bhagavan, what is the order of the tantric rituals, and what is the special practice?" The Bhagavan replied: "The ground of the glorious Mahakala
