It should be practiced. Then, immediately after that, one should have the meditation of glorious Mahakala, and in its heart, From (Tibetan: རཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Rang) arises a sun disc, on top of which a black (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) should be contemplated. The rays of (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) having dispelled the suffering of the three realms, contemplate the Lama, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas as the nature of glorious Mahakala, invite them to your front, and offer them with special offerings such as flowers and incense. Then, confess sins and so on. Then, with the power of glorious Mahakala, contemplate the four immeasurables such as love, and having observed the suchness of all things, abide in the state of clarity as it is. Thus spoke the Bhagavan. Then Mahakala asked: Bhagavan, what is the suchness of all things? What does it mean by clear nature? The Bhagavan replied: Initially unborn, there is no birth, abandoning both existence and non-existence, not abiding at the edge, completely liberated, in the nature of emptiness and non-emptiness, the essence of the self is completely pure. If the essence of things is summarized, it clarifies the meaning of emptiness. Thus spoke the Bhagavan. All things that appear as dual should be contemplated as the emptiness of non-dual great wisdom. Then generate the glorious black one. From emptiness, the syllable (Tibetan: བཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Vam) arises.
