Having vowed to uphold the Great Vehicle yoga, Knowing the times and measures, possessing power, noble one, do you also abandon us? Wouldn't that contradict your initial vow? Whoever makes a vow to whom, That person should strive for its meaning. If there is no need for others to urge or request, May your vow bear fruit. My vow is the supreme Vajra Three, Which is also your supreme vow. Even if our lineages differ, if we are united by vows, May we be close and affectionate like siblings. In the past, when the teachings were on the verge of destruction, Wherever hatred and fierce enemies and obstacles arose, Your compassion especially arose there, just as you subdued them with fierce methods. Now, in this degenerate age, when the teachings are on the verge of destruction, you know that sinful results are ripening. Ocean of Vajra siblings, please remember your great vows individually, And accomplish activities as appropriate. Although lords and others pledge to act, They cannot act like objects. Since you have mastered the Dharma of illusion, Please accomplish whatever arises from the nature of illusion. Although I lack the power of clairvoyance, I do not spare my life and body for the sake of the Dharma of vows. Since you possess unobstructed power, Why do I have to beg for the protection of beings? Saying that the time of worldly karma has not yet arrived, You do not perform the activity of taming beings. If the power of karma is strong for all beings, To whom will you bestow the blessings of compassion? Whatever one does that is contrary to Dharma, Will it not be fruitless? Since wisdom, compassion, and skillful means are not contradictory, What need is there to mention fulfilling wishes? Since you are unequaled in protecting the supreme, unbreakable Vajra vows, And I am unable to protect the Dharma and benefit beings, please grant me the supreme blessings.
