Then, the great lords of yoga who abide in the samaya of great enjoyment spoke this confession of the peace of dharmata. Samantabhadra, Father and Mother, please listen and consider. Mind and phenomena are primordially manifest as enlightened. Even the intention and conduct of Samantabhadra, Father and Mother, are like that. Thus, I have not realized due to ignorance. Whatever contradicts the hearts of Samantabhadra, Father and Mother, I beseech you, great compassionate ones, to forgive. Five Buddha families, please listen and consider. The five skandhas are primordially manifest as enlightened. Even the intention and conduct of the Five Buddha Families are like that. Thus, I have not realized due to ignorance. Whatever contradicts the hearts of the Five Buddha Families, I beseech you, great compassionate ones, to forgive. Mothers of the families, please listen and consider. The five elements are primordially manifest as enlightened. Even the intention and conduct of the Five Mothers of the Families are like that. Thus, I have not realized due to ignorance. Whatever contradicts the hearts of the Five Mothers of the Families, I beseech you, great compassionate ones, to forgive. Eight Bodhisattvas, please listen and consider. The eight consciousnesses are primordially manifest as enlightened. Even the intention and conduct of the Eight Bodhisattvas are like that. Thus, I have not realized due to ignorance. Whatever contradicts the hearts of the Eight Bodhisattvas, I beseech you, great compassionate ones, to forgive. Eight consorts, please listen and consider. The four realms and four times are primordially manifest as enlightened. Even the intention and conduct of the Eight Consorts are like that. Thus, I have not realized due to ignorance. Whatever contradicts the hearts of the Eight Consorts, I beseech you, great compassionate ones, to forgive. Six Thubpas, please listen and consider. The six afflictions are primordially manifest as enlightened. Even the intention and conduct of the Six Thubpas are like that. Thus, I have not realized due to ignorance. Due to not understanding and not realizing, what conflicts are there with the minds of the Four Gatekeepers? Please forgive me, you who possess great compassion! Four Gate Mothers, please listen and consider! The four extremes of permanence and annihilation are inherently manifestly enlightened. Even the thoughts and actions of the Four Gate Mothers are like that. Likewise, due to my not understanding and not realizing, what conflicts are there with the minds of the Four Gate Mothers? Please forgive me, you who possess great compassion! Thus it was said. Then, the assembly of Yoginis recited this peaceful confession. Oṃ. Lacking the mind of self-aware wisdom, I have not united the aggregates, elements, and sense bases as deities of the peaceful mandala. Please forgive the forty-two Buddhas. Lacking the mind of self-aware wisdom, I have not united the mind and dharmas as Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri. Having erred by grasping ignorance and self-mind as self, please forgive the body of Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri. Lacking the mind of self-aware wisdom, I have not united the five aggregates as the five wisdoms. Having erred by grasping ignorance and self-mind as self, please forgive the body of the five Victorious Ones. Having erred by grasping ignorance and self-mind as self, please forgive the body of the emanations of the six Thubpas. Having abandoned, due to the influence of delusion, I disparaged the teacher from the heart. Due to pride and arrogance, I stirred up discord among fellow practitioners and siblings. Due to frivolous boasting, I spread secret mantras to others. Due to the influence of miserliness, offerings were made past the due time. Due to the faults of bad friends, secret rituals were broken. Due to small vows, demons and spirits were not subdued. And arrogance, stubbornness, leftover offerings, and so on. From the beginningless end of time in past lives, until now, having taken this body in this life, whatever sins and non-virtuous actions I have committed, may you, who know the times and are aware of the times, forgive me. Because you are noble, please accept this. Because I am a sentient being, I have made mistakes. Because it is illusion, if I confess, please grant forgiveness. Because you are skilled in means, I beseech you to grant Brahma. Thus it was said. Then, all the great lords of yoga who came from the ten directions, all the fathers and mothers, spoke this confession to the peaceful assembly of deities. Samantabhadra, the precious essence of mind, the father who subdues the three realms, and the mother who gathers the ultimate into the sphere of reality, we have deceived the body of the deity, not realizing our own body as illusion. We have deteriorated, and regret arises in our minds. We ask forgiveness from the father and mother Samantabhadra.
