Praise! I prostrate and praise you, the greatly elegant one! I prostrate and praise you, the tamer of demons! I prostrate and praise the deity who destroys the three realms! The secret, the greatly secret, and the innermost secret mind. The essence of meditation and the meaning of profoundness. If praised with meanings that possess direction, then, the power to seize, attract, and absorb, and to subdue, suppress, burn, and cast away, and to be liberated from the power of antidotes and fears. Through the accomplishment of antidotes, anything can be accomplished. By praising with devotion, one quickly attains accomplishments. Thus, from the Secret Intent Transmission of Kīlaya, the sixty-eighth chapter: "By praising with devotion, one quickly attains accomplishments." Then, again, the King of Activities requested the Bhagavan: "Since the main deity is praised with devotion and quickly attains accomplishments, please explain the benefits of praising the ten wrathful deities with devotion." Having requested thus, the Bhagavan spoke: "From the midst of a space blazing like the fire at the end of an eon, the three activities gather habitual patterns into the sphere of reality. I prostrate and praise the Wrathful King Hūṃkāra (藏文:ཧཱུྂ་ཀཱ་ར་,梵文天城体:हुम् कारा,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ kāra,吽声)! The supreme secret mind that triumphs over all samsara. I prostrate and praise the Wrathful King Victorious! The one who destroys activities for the benefit of beings. I prostrate and praise the Wrathful King Dark Blue Staff! The one who cuts off the grasping and clinging, wrong thoughts, and the Lord of Death. I prostrate and praise the Wrathful King Yama, the Slayer! The one who abandons the faults of samsara and is the protector from suffering. I prostrate and praise the Wrathful King Immovable Protector! The one whose roaring voice and laughter, terrifying countenance, resound in the ten directions. I prostrate and praise the Wrathful King Hayagrīva's body! The one who, with compassion, is attached to the benefit of beings and does not see faults. I prostrate and praise the Wrathful King Unconquerable! The one who bestows the nectar of compassion upon the demons of samsara. I prostrate and praise the Wrathful King Nectar Swirl! The one who triumphs by liberating the three realms of samsara with compassion. I prostrate and praise the Wrathful King Three Realms Victorious Body! The one who liberates beings from samsara to the supreme state with the power of compassion. I prostrate and praise the Wrathful King Great Power! The ten terrifying and wrathful father-mother Wrathful Kings. The bodhisattvas of samsara, the assembly of twenty subtle means. With gaping mouths, bared fangs, and rolling eyes, possessing a majestic demeanor. Holding six arms, wielding various terrifying weapons. Adorned for elegance with the eight great charnel ground ornaments. With fire on their bodies to burn the habitual patterns of samsara.
