Thus, the lives of the sixteen guardians also become life-essences. Those lives are first offered to the master. Combining those lives, even more than the life-basis, are the life of subjugation and the life of empowerment. The two lives offered later are as follows: མ་ཏ་མ་ཉ་ཀ་ར་ཨིན་ན་མ་མ་པ་ཤི་ཀུ་སྲ ད་ཏི་མ་མ་ཀརྨ་ thus offered. Among the two lives, there are the life of obedience and the life of keeping vows. The life of ཁྲ་ན་མ་ is, ད་ཏི་མ་མ་ the life of pledging as a servant. མ་མ་ཀརྨ་ is the life of not transgressing vows. Those are the six lives offered later. Through the power of the tantras, it is shown in writing. These essences of life, I offer to you, the hero. Please, holy one, consider and accept them. I am a subject, I am a subject. Do not be negligent towards the subject. Having extracted the hearts, I offer them to the glorious one. Having offered them, I vow to be a servant. First recite, then 155༄༅།. Recite with all the essences of life, please, hero, accept them. Thus it is said. Now, there are four things: calling from the life-essence, bestowing empowerment from the life-essence, vowing to be a servant of the life-essence, and not transgressing the oath of the life-essence. If calling, then call from the life-essence of subjugation. If employing, then drive from the life-essence of vowing to be a slave. If empowering a female slave, then do it with the life-essence of empowerment. If the female slave does not work, then punish her with the life-essence of the oath. Thus it is said. Furthermore, if turning the wheel of the life of the dakini, the method of the wheel of life is shown in the Torma Tantra. The wheel of life of subjugation is to insert only the life-mantra of subjugation. No other mantra is needed. If not employing, then insert the life-essence of vowing to be a slave. If there is opposition, then insert the life-essence of empowerment and the life-essence of the oath. In this way, all the life-wheels are mixed. Whatever life-wheel of gods, demons, male or female, is turned, it should be done in the same way. Thus it is said. From the Great Vajrakila Shanpa Skull Knife Tantra, the third chapter, which shows the abiding of life. Now entering into the samadhi of accomplishing the dakini 156. Searching for the place to accomplish the dakini and accumulating substances. The conducive substances for the self-existing mother are: the conducive substances for rhinoceros hide, the conducive substances for sandalwood, seventeen kīlas, three sweets, three whites, the four great oceans, the divination board, and accumulating substances in measure. Having accumulated the substances, make outer offerings. If reciting five hundred thousand, then avert the four kinds of spirits. The outer offerings should be made extensively. Thus it is said. Now it is shown to make the mandala: on a square mandala of one cubit in length, apply various kinds of blood. Apply various kinds of poison, and apply great ashes. Draw the mandala, first the wheel from the triangle.
