那，那些（魔众）并不高兴，说道：‘比起我们的衣服温暖而沉重，像这样寒冷而清凉的，我们也不喜欢。’同样地，更换装饰、用具、床榻等等，他们也不乐意，又反过来说道：‘幻术女子依赖手段。’‘语言，你这欺骗一切的柔顺者！’‘对于说话的语言，我不听从。’‘我没有作害之前，依赖幻术食物安乐地住着。’这样说完后，圣观世音菩萨像舞者一样以方便化现，名为吉祥莲花舞自在王，成为金刚马头明王。具有摄集一切的加持，以名为“哈日”的马的大笑声震撼一切世间，以巨大的步伐猛烈地行动而搅动，极度地搅动，非常地搅动，从所有毛孔中发出金刚的炽热、锐利而迅速、浓厚而纷乱的光芒，将魔众连同大地一起焚烧到几乎死亡的程度，但他们心想：‘比起这个，我变得寒冷会更舒适。’而且，那个忿怒尊的每一个毛孔都像天空一样大，从那里涌出水的波涛，发出“呜呜”的猛烈声音降下，魔众连同大地一起极度地摇动，发出“索塔姆塔姆”的声音，颤抖着，因为我（们）有了这些热和冷，我（们）为了平静安宁地居住，要去喜马拉雅山（雪山）顶，将坟地的地方与寂静处所视为平等。这样想的时候，从金刚忿怒尊的鼻孔中，刮起巨大的风轮暴风雪，使他们摇摆和撞击，口朝下和仰面朝天地倒下，从所有毛孔中吐出血而昏厥，几乎要死，但由于邪见，没有善良的态度，反而骄傲自满地说：‘自在者，在我附近，快乐将充满味道，虚伪幻术之轮的拥有者，像你这样显现凶猛之相的，我不会感到危险。你还是回到你自己的地方去吧，享受欲望的功德，我不受你的支配。即使我的生命会被夺走，我也不会相信你这邪见者，如果不在你自己的地方，就待在这里，享受我的享用，像儿子一样亲近我。’

Then, those (demons) were not pleased, saying, 'Compared to our warm and heavy clothes, we don't like this kind of cold and refreshing one either.' Similarly, they were unwilling to change ornaments, utensils, beds, and so on, and retorted, 'Illusory women rely on means.' 'Speech, you who deceive all the gentle ones!' 'I do not listen to the speaking language.' 'Before I have done harm, I live comfortably relying on illusory food.' Having said this, the noble Avalokiteśvara, like a dancer, emanated through skillful means, named Glorious Lotus Dance Lord, becoming Vajra Hayagrīva. Possessing the blessings to gather all under control, with the great horse-laugh called 'Hari,' he shook all the worlds. With great strides, he moved violently and stirred, extremely stirred, very stirred. From all the pores of his hair, the vajra's hot, sharp, and swift, thick and chaotic light burned the demons together with the earth to the point of almost dying, but they thought, 'Compared to this, it would be more comfortable if I became cold.' Moreover, each pore of that wrathful one was as large as the sky, and from there, waves of water surged forth, making a fierce 'hur hur' sound as they fell. The demons, together with the earth, shook violently, making a 'so tham tham' sound, trembling. Because I (we) have these hot and cold (sensations), I (we), in order to live peacefully and quietly, will go to the top of Mount Himalaya (Snow Mountain), and regard the place of the charnel ground as equal to a solitary place. As they thought this, from the nostrils of the great Vajra Wrathful One, a great whirlwind of wind stirred, causing them to sway and collide, falling face down and face up, vomiting blood from all their pores and fainting, almost to the point of death. But due to wrong views, there was no virtuous attitude, but rather arrogance and pride, and they said this: 'Lord, in my vicinity, happiness will be filled with flavor, possessor of the wheel of false illusion, like you who show a fierce appearance, I will not be in danger. You should return to your own place, enjoy the qualities of desire, I am not under your control. Even if my life is taken away, I will not believe in you, the one with wrong views. If you are not in your own place, stay here, enjoy my enjoyment, be close to me like a son.'

如是语，未调伏。尔时化现大自在者，往诣一切刹土庄严，自身隐没。尔时虚空般之界，于清净之界中，未动摇，然以心显现之王，以悲悯未断绝之故，行进。一切方便之根本，吽字赤黑色，如劫末之火，炽燃之光芒，以极锐利之光，一切显现且周遍，使大魔之眷属惊恐，不由自主地从其眷属中夺取，以锤击碎，向十方倾倒，仰卧与俯卧。彼亦如是思念：我之眷属舍我而去，贪恋各自之安乐，虽无所成，然此等舍我而去，于虚空遍布之处，俯卧与仰卧，岂非不妙？如是思念。其后，从极热之光中，于彼等之上显现者，乃为尊胜、阎魔敌、马头明王、甘露漩、青色手杖、不动明王、欲王、三界尊胜、大力者、吽字行者等。具极忿怒之相，手持众多极锐利之兵器，各自交错，压制前方四者，见如倾倒般安住。尔时，鲁扎如是思念：此世间无有胜我者，夺我眷属而压制，非我之行径。此等乃我眷属之主，尸祥嘎猛者、革斯那嘎鲁扎、布如巴嘎夏、亚玛辛度等，与妻妾眷属，与侍女眷属，与婢女眷属，复有男仆眷属等，以傲慢之故，一切皆当调伏，如是训示。彼等亦以各自之怒容、兵器、威吓之姿态，欲调伏之，然从智慧之光焰中生起者，乃为金刚黑汝嘎、佛黑汝嘎、宝生黑汝嘎、莲花黑汝嘎、羯磨黑汝嘎，及其等之明妃，八女使者，八狮面母，四面母，威吓之姿态等，一一亦如微尘数。

Thus he spoke, but was not subdued. At that time, the great lord of transformation went to adorn all the realms, and made his own body invisible. At that time, from the realm like the sky, in the expanse of pure space, without moving, yet the king of mind's appearance, moved by compassion without interruption. The root of all methods, the red-black Hūṃ, like the fire at the end of the kalpa, with blazing rays, with extremely sharp light, manifested and pervaded everything, frightening the retinue of the great demon, involuntarily snatching them from his retinue, smashing them with a hammer, and scattering them in ten directions, supine and prone. He also thought to himself: These of my retinue have abandoned me and are attached to their own pleasures, though it is of no avail. But these, having abandoned me, are lying prone and supine in the space that pervades, is this not bad? Thus he thought. Then, from the extremely hot light, those who appeared above them were: Victorious, Yamāntaka, Hayagrīva, Nectar Vortex, Blue Staff, Acala, King of Desire, Victorious in the Three Realms, Mighty One, Hūṃ-maker, and so on. Possessing extremely wrathful forms, holding many extremely sharp weapons, each intersecting, pressing down on the four in front, they were seen dwelling as if overturned. At that time, Rudra thought to himself: In this world, there is no one greater than me, but to seize my retinue and suppress them is not my way. These are the lords of my retinue: Śīśaṅka the Fierce, Kesanakaruza, Burubagaśa, Yamasindu, and so on, with wives and consorts, with female attendants, with maidservants, and also with male servants, all of whom shall be subdued by the power of arrogance, thus he instructed. They also, with their respective wrathful expressions, weapons, and threatening postures, intended to subdue, but from the blazing light of wisdom arose: Vajra Heruka, Buddha Heruka, Ratna Heruka, Padma Heruka, Karma Heruka, and their consorts, the Eight Female Messengers, the Eight Lion-faced Mothers, the Four-faced Mothers, threatening postures, and so on, each as numerous as dust motes.
