The Teacher doesn't say anything, and the Bodhisattva doesn't make requests. Does the Blessed One not subdue these beings? Subdued, but are these transformed by karma and without merit? Or does he abide in equanimity, not doing benefit, or do they each abide separately in their minds? There, from the northern side, in the world realm called "Victorious One's Array Treasury," in the pure land of the Buddha called "King Who Proclaims Melodious Sounds," a daughter of the wheel-turning king called "Golden Light," a noble girl called "Ocean of Clear Light," adorned with jeweled earrings, with eyes fully opened like lotuses, with an exceedingly beautiful complexion blooming like the moon, came and remained. She looked in the ten directions, rose from her seat, filled her palms with fine particles of jeweled flowers, scattered them upon the Teacher and the Bodhisattva, prostrated, and said to the Bodhisattva: "Great Bodhisattva, you are blessed by all the Buddhas, and you are a noble son, so what do you wish to request? You have already made requests to the supreme Teacher, so what do you wish to request? If you request again now, it will be granted, so why do you postpone without requesting? Is it that you will not subdue the envious? Are you unwilling to do the work of beings? Is it that the Teacher will not grant it?" The Bodhisattva said again: "I am skillful in means, and for the sake of beings, I will gladly accept any difficulty." Having put on armor in this way, how should I act like one who subdues beings? Although I am a Bodhisattva, I am not bold enough to make a request to the Teacher who is absorbed in samadhi according to his intention. The goddess said: "If everything to be done is for the sake of beings, why are you not bold enough to make a request?" He said: "I am bold enough to make a request for the sake of beings, but the time is not yet ripe, and the time for subduing is not yet ripe. But if you are eager to make a request, then I will make the request." Having said this, with her own name, which is exceedingly sharp and endowed with glory, she plucked out the hearts of the envious beings, placed them on the tip, offered them to the Blessed One, and prayed: "Alas, alas, supreme nectar of great joy! I have killed the envious, plucked out their hearts, please, hero, partake! With the sharp glory of the great sword of wisdom, I have severed the root of the three realms' samsara!" The Blessed One spoke: What
