If the mind is not confused, then listen as I speak of the true meaning. The mind dwells in the body, the nature of mind is the body. From being nothing, anything appears. Merely appearing, yet not established, therefore the nature of mind is difficult to be constant. If all the Buddhas cannot realize it, what need is there for you, a Bodhisattva, to speak of it? For example, a fool uses the tip of his finger to point to the edge of the sky, he cannot point to it. Likewise, for the sky of the mind, speaking by pointing with words, how can one point to it when one is intoxicated? Measuring the nature of mind with measurement, is like a monkey covering the breadth and size of the sky with the palm of its hand, wanting to avoid being rained on. The nature of mind is like the depths of a great ocean, which cannot be shaken in any way. The king said to the listeners: You must use a sturdy ship, carrying the food that I have prepared, and from the middle of the ocean, go and see its depth, breadth, and height. Then determine the types and numbers of sentient beings, and tell me. I will do as you wish. Otherwise, I will order your execution. Life being cut off is very frightening, using ships, medicines, and mantras, etc., to go and change it. Ultimately reaching the end, yet there is no help, like losing a relative in death. The nature of mind is like the depths of the ocean, ignorance and wrong thoughts are like the king. Because of narrow consciousness, for the listeners, actions are like ships and objects, the pure external sound disappears, the breadth, depth, and essence of the mind, as well as the samsara arising from the mind, and the edge of Nirvana are constant, therefore, not determining the time of death, how can one realize by threatening and sending them away? Slander will cause one to fall into hell. Then, because there is no object of any kind, not becoming an object of going, therefore it can never be obtained, because it is universally present, so there is no need to search. Because it is originally so, it is free from fabrication. Like jaggery and its sweetness, they are not different, so they pervade from top to bottom. For example, like the sound of a lion's roar, when it is uttered, everything ceases to exist. If one understands one's own meaning, samsara does not exist, so it is called Bodhicitta. The supreme one who realizes in this way, is like the golden sun rising, from the darkness of anger that is originally pure, the wisdom of Dharmadhatu is vast, holding the lineage of the Vajra family,
