This excellent fruit is obtained among the fruits that are obtained. In the Mamo Path Lineage Scripture, the fourth chapter, which teaches the fruit of Mamo. Then, the nature of the grounds and paths is thoroughly explained, namely, the four mindfulnesses, the four right abandonments, the four legs of miraculous power, and the characteristics of the accumulation path, as it is believed. The nature is the intrinsic nature of the mind. This should also be understood as follows. The mindfulness of the body is also the Mamo mindfulness of the body. Because it is not forgotten, it is mindfulness. This principle should be understood by all. The characteristics of the path of joining are ten, the five faculties and the five powers. The nature is not other than the mind. The seeing path has seven, and the meditation path also has five. The characteristics of the fruit path should be known by the wise as three. The characteristic of effortless perfection is emptiness, unconditioned, and spontaneously accomplished. When realizing the characteristics of Mamo, there is nothing that does not appear as a sign. For example, like smoke from fire, the fire indicated by smoke, The characteristic indicated by the sign, there is no error whatsoever. Therefore, the wise should diligently engage in the initial characteristic. From the characteristic arises the sign, and through the door of the sign, realization arises that abides in the characteristic. With realization, exaggeration and slander are abandoned. With abandonment, one is liberated from the path of evil destinies and existence. The characteristic without signs is Pilura and Pitara, the practices of the Tirthikas. The distinctions of characteristics are such, and the general characteristic is as follows. Not understanding the meaning of Manu-sara, from the appearance of the mind's delusion, one enjoys the self-illuminating realm of illusion. When each appears as illusion, when measured by the higher and higher, the lower and lower appear as non-existent. The non-existent should not appear, but due to delusion, it appears as existent. Like the consciousness that grasps mirages, it is wonderful that the non-existent appears, and it is wonderful to know liberation. The lesser wonder of delusion is the wonder of the magical powers of karma, and the extraordinary wonder of delusion is great. The instructions of the lama are very wonderful. Mamo generation and completion, and Dzogchen are also delusions, and the magical powers of samadhi are very wonderful. The wonder of the magical powers of samadhi, like the city of the Gandharvas, appears but is only non-existent. Therefore, what is the use of meditating and reciting in such a non-existent samadhi?

If accomplishment is achieved through non-existence, what need is there for the guru's instructions? Although those wisdoms are true, for the time being, understand them in this way. Speaking of non-existence is dualistic, and for the time being, existence is dualistic. Confusion of objects is dualistic, and the abiding of objects is fourfold. It does not transform into confused objects, and although it does not transform from non-existence into existence, like pointing to the moon with a finger, like seeking the characteristics of existence, non-existence is a branch of skillful means. Compared to seeking the skillful means of the abiding place of objects, confusion is a distinction of skillful means. For example, from the seed of a rice plant, when the fruit of the rice ear arises, the earth, as well as fertilizer and water, and all the stages of plowing, etc., do not transform into the fruit of the rice ear, but from the cause of the rice plant, it appears as a means for the fruit of the rice plant to arise. Likewise, the third with conceptualization is also a sign of the arising of the four without conceptualization, as the Buddhas of the past have said. How can this conceptual thought that appears, without obstructing the stages of arising, how can this mind intoxicated by conceptual thought realize emptiness, spontaneously accomplished? Therefore, the arising of non-existence is existence, and existence is not profound, because it cannot accomplish meaning, it is the same as non-existence. It is not inferior to non-existence, because it accomplishes meaning, it is also the same as existence. If this subtle conceptual thought of arising is not eliminated by the completion stage, it will not transform into the realization of non-arising, because it is weakened by the conceptual thought of arising. Completion and Great Completion are also the same, if this wind of conceptual thought is not stopped, this fire of wisdom will not transform into burning. If this fire of wisdom does not burn, it will not eliminate the darkness of ignorance, and if the darkness of ignorance is not eliminated, self-awareness, self-illumination, and self-nature will arise. If self-awareness is not illuminated by self-nature, there will be no terms such as body, etc. For example, if the wind of the hole is not blocked, it will not transform into burning a lamp, and if it does not transform into burning a lamp, it will not eliminate darkness. Although one does not abide in the arising stage, one should diligently practice the accumulation of generosity, and thereby one's own mind will ripen, and because of ripening, conceptual thoughts will gradually subside, and one will transform into abiding well in the arising stage. The nature of the path is such that if there are those who do not know it, they are blind practitioners, and emptiness separated from skillful means is desiring the clothing of space. From the Mamo Path Continuum Sutra, the fifth chapter, which reveals the nature of the path. Then the ground and path of Mamo, the sign of the fruit.
