This is the twenty-fourth chapter. Now begins the ritual for subduing the demon mothers. The mandala should be made into nine squares, and an eight-spoked wheel should be drawn on it. In the nine large blood vessels, place thirteen triangular torma, the size of the torma should be two fingers wide, and at the top of each torma, insert a black mustard seed with its tip intact. Then, in the wicker box, place sandalwood on the surface. On the bark of a pine tree, place the enemy's bones or effigy. Place it in the wicker box. In it, put the heart and brain of a bird, and the beak of a hawk, place it in the wicker box. In it, also put mad dog medicine and wolf thorns. Poisonous snakes and scorpions, heads and claws, are also put in. Meditate on yourself as the great supreme Heruka. Adorn the body with garlands of dry and wet skulls, feet stretched out, wearing a tiger skin loincloth. Adorn the joints with a thousand black snakes, raise a thousand hands, the hair is brownish-black and stands on end, clenching the teeth, making a clicking sound, rolling the tongue. Meditate on yourself as a fierce and terrifying being.
