Listening to the supreme Dharma from a virtuous spiritual friend, and with the wisdom of thought, dissecting and establishing the characteristics of all dharmas as non-inherent existence and emptiness, etc., contemplating without doubt, and from contemplation, focusing the mind on one point. The power of Amitabha (Nangwa Thaye), the peacock throne is: the freedom of life, which is to remain as long as one wishes. The freedom of karma, which is not subject to the power of karma. The freedom of resources, which is to possess the treasury of space. The freedom of inclination, which is to transform according to the wishes of the beings to be tamed. The freedom of aspiration, which is to fulfill whatever is aspired. The freedom of miraculous powers, which is to transform as one desires. The freedom of birth, which is to take birth in whatever form is beneficial for beings. The freedom of Dharma, which is to master the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma. The freedom of mind, which is to spontaneously accomplish the wishes of all beings. The freedom of wisdom, which is to master the five wisdoms through the four analytical knowledges, and to see all beings with omniscient vision. The peacock throne that perfects the ten freedoms. The Shangshung of the accomplished one is: activity, which is called "catvāryapramāṇa (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,四无量)", the four immeasurables, which is to cultivate the four excellent minds of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity towards immeasurable beings. With loving-kindness, placing all beings in happiness, thinking to benefit them, this is immeasurable loving-kindness. Wishing beings to be free from suffering. Immeasurable loving-kindness is not like that of worldly people, loving their children and relatives, nor like that of Hearers, who act for the benefit of only a few beings, but rather, like cherishing all beings as if they were one's only child. Thus, the throne Shangshung of the accomplished one also possesses the four immeasurables. With immeasurable compassion, freeing all beings from afflictions, eliminating suffering, thinking to benefit them. Wishing them to have happiness. With immeasurable joy, giving benefit and happiness to all beings as before, thinking that loving-kindness is good. Wishing to completely accomplish self-benefit. With immeasurable equanimity, for the sake of bringing happiness and liberation to beings, not distinguishing between enemies and friends, giving benefit equally. Pacifying harm and diseases, etc., and being completely in accordance with the four activities, the so-called Śāntika (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,寂静), which is the name of the mantra that pacifies harm and diseases, etc., which means pacification. Life and resources, etc.
