If one does not understand appearance, it is said to be an obstacle to activity. The nature of being unfindable, if one does not understand it as unfindable, but engages in the effort of activity, it is said to be a deviation in activity. If one seeks to accomplish through being unfindable, it is said to be an error in activity. The nature of pure wisdom, if one does not understand it as being without obscuration, it is said to be an obscuration of wisdom. For wisdom that is without obscuration, if one does not realize it as being without obscuration, if one does not realize it as being clear and unobscured, it is said to be a deviation in wisdom. If one desires clarity and non-clarity, it is said to be an error in wisdom. Going to the unerroneous ground is purifying and unapproachable. If one does not understand purifying and unapproachable, it is said to be an obscuration of the ground and the other shore. On the ground and path where purifying and approaching are unnecessary, if one does not realize that purifying and approaching are unnecessary, but engages in purifying and approaching, it is said to be a deviation of the ground and the other shore. If one desires to invert above and below, it is said to be an error of the ground and the other shore. The nature of the stages of the path is the nature of being unapproachable. If one does not understand being unapproachable, it is said to be an obscuration of the path. For the nature of being unapproachable, if one does not realize being unapproachable, if one desires to approach the path, it is said to be a deviation of the path. If one desires five distinctions, it is said to be an error of the path. The nature of subtle things is the nature of grasping and being grasped.

Incongruous words connected, it is said to be a mistake in the scriptures. When the nature of the oral instructions is revealed, if one does not practice in the absence of dualistic appearance, if one does not understand in the absence of fabrication, it is said to be an obstacle to the oral instructions. Regarding the oral instructions free from addition and subtraction, if one does not realize in the absence of fabrication, but thinks there is addition and subtraction, it is said to be a wrong path of the oral instructions. If one is manifestly attached to the extreme of fabrication, it is said to be a mistake in the oral instructions. Although there are thirty differences, it is said that when summarized, there are only three. The wrong path is the mistake of the gate of action, not understanding the real meaning is the obstacle, possessing the five gates is the mistake. Desiring meaning with a desireless mind, entering the path of characteristics with a desiring mind, this is called the wrong path. Regarding the nature free from addition and subtraction, understanding with the existence of speech is the obstacle, not cutting off the attachment of addition with words is the mistake. Regarding the difference of sentient beings' faculties, with the difference of wisdom, the nine vehicles are distinguished, the uncommon views and practices are separated, in this, attachment manifests to one's own view, turning away from other views, in this, the wrong path, obstacle, and mistake arise. In the true meaning, there is no vehicle, thus it is said. The twentieth chapter, separately showing the three: wrong path, obstacle, and mistake. After that, the Lord of the World again asked Buddha Amitabha: The nine vehicles in order, etc., have explained the three: wrong path, obstacle, and mistake, in the Great Compassion Vehicle, are there the three: wrong path, obstacle, and mistake? If not, how should one practice? The Perfect Buddha revealed and said: The Great Compassion Vehicle is the pinnacle of the nine vehicles. The common vehicle, the nine in order, attachment manifests to one's own view, turning away from other views. The Hearer is attached to realizing selflessness, the Solitary Realizer is attached to dependent origination, arising and ceasing, the Mind-Only is attached to the two: grasper and grasped, the Middle Way is attached to the two truths, Kriya is attached to the three purities, Upaya is attached to seeing upwards and acting downwards, Yoga is attached to the two: arising and ceasing, Maha is attached to the two: appearance and emptiness, Anu is attached to the two: cause and effect, attachment to the two: realm and wisdom. In Dzogchen, in the self-nature manifestation of awareness, saying it is self-born coemergent wisdom, with the mind desiring wisdom, there is Buddha, in the self-nature of awareness transforming, saying it is the Buddha's secret, without subduing afflictions, saying that realization is Buddhahood, without cutting off the grasping and attachment, hatred, the five poisons
