Ūzī is a substance that can subdue demons. Using wild dog feces can subdue a king. Musk, guggul, and tsampa can subdue oneself. A substance that can subdue the four types of nāgas. Great ash, amrita (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思), and Manu, gold, and fat can subdue Brahmins. Using arrogant stones can subdue commoners. Using cattle, sheep, and sheep fat can subdue royalty. Wolfsbane, mustard, and Black cumin can subdue royalty. Royalty, power, hand, and Sea waves, foam, and makara claws. Using Kantakari can subdue the nāga retinue. The chapter on protection, the twenty-first, is complete. Next is the internal division of poisons. Those arising from wind, those from bile, those arising from phlegm, those arising from a combination, and also parasitic diseases, in five forms. Those arising from wind will cause paleness, numbness, and swelling. Those arising from bile will cause redness, swelling, and blisters. Leprosy arising from phlegm is: muscle and skin stiffness, purplish-black. A combination is a combination of the three. Now divide the parasitic diseases. If it invades the water channels, it will cause paralysis and lameness. If it invades the veins, it will cause fever and agitation. If it invades the skin, it will cause nasal sores. If it invades the muscles, it will cause scrotal swelling. If it invades the blood, it will cause nosebleeds. If it invades the lungs and heart, it will obstruct breathing. If it invades the brain, it will cause headaches. Nāga diseases have five forms. Mouth and eyes are crooked, and muscles waste away. The grains of wind and hail are also small. Earth-lord spirits have two forms. Limb stiffness and half-body wasting. Epidemics will cause neck stiffness and creaking sounds. If these symptoms appear, treatment should be given. If treatment is ineffective, resort to mantras. The key to examining diseases is: If the fever has the same body temperature, it is correct. Black guggul, rhubarb, and the menstrual blood of a widowed woman, and Underground ashes should be burned and applied. If it feels like a thorn prick, use aconite and wolfsbane. Apply sheep fat. If fever and pimples appear, it is bad. Apply gentian juice and incense. If something like a round thorn prick appears, use the root of sheep and goat dung. Apply the herb called "flower." If wounds and pus appear, apply wild rose, paper bark, and perforated materials. Apply guggul, sheep fat, and hot ashes. If weak, wash with water. If epilepsy occurs, suppress it with mantras. If flesh and blood appear, apply alkaline water and pig fat. By doing this, one will survive. The chapter on medical treatment, the twenty-second, is complete.
