I prostrate and praise! On the crown of the head, a horse's head stands tall, Green and vibrant, resounding in all ten directions. Subduing the most excellent and vigorous assembly that teaches the Dharma, A powerful roar like thunder from the ears startles all. Flames blaze from the eyes, incinerating the three realms. The wind scattering from the nostrils fills the three thousand worlds. From the mouth, a fearsome poison is expelled, liberating from afflictions. The beard, like a lion's mane, reduces the three existences to ashes. The furrowed brow is vast with the radiance of joy. I prostrate and praise the body of the powerful wrathful deity! Please accept the offerings of the five desirable qualities. Having become an eternal deity, when I accomplish you, Please grant me the कार्य and rituals of protection. May the nagas act according to your command and dispel harm. I pray that the entrusted fruits be bestowed at this time. I am the valiant King Hayagriva, On the throne of the Naga King, I consume the Naga servants as food. May the nagas not transgress my command! If the nagas transgress my command, Their heads, bodies, and limbs will be burned, And the abodes of the nagas will be destroyed. oṃ śrī padmāntakṛt vajra krodha hūṃ! haya grīva hariṃ hariṃ! hulu hulu hūṃ phaṭ! oṃ jvala jvala vajra pati samayaja! Thus, may the nagas become my dominion and servants. Praising the glorious Hayagriva, This is the thirty-fifth chapter on subduing the nagas. Offering to the nagas and entrusting activities: Hey! Hey! Come here, come here, perform activities! Naga King, your food is here. Out of love and compassion, please descend. Please accomplish the entrusted activities. Sugar, molasses, the essence of sweetness, Your enjoyment is here. Naga deities, male and female, please partake of this, And accomplish the entrusted activities. Come here, descend, Naga Kings! nāga kesara nāga puṣpa, Ocean foam, utpala flowers, Elephant trunks, crocodile claws, I offer these to you, Naga King. Please accomplish the entrusted activities. Come here, come here, assembly of nagas! Five precious jewels and silks, And delightful offerings, milk and butter, Molasses, honey, and the essence of flavors are offered. I invite the Naga King and his retinue, As honored guests, I offer with devotion, Please partake, please enjoy, assembly of nagas! Please accept these offerings of ornaments.

(Tibetan: ནཱའ་ག་རཱ་ཛ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ་སརྦ་ཁ་ཁ་ལེ་ལེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: नागराज समय अमृत सर्व ख ख लेले, Sanskrit Romanization: nāgarāja samaya amṛta sarva kha kha lele, Literal Chinese Meaning: Dragon King Vow Amrita All Empty Empty Lele.) Thus offering and entrusting the activity. It is known through the occasion of the concluding transformation activity. The chapter of offering to the Nagas and entrusting activity, the thirty-sixth (chapter). Then, the Bhagavan Glorious Hayagriva, arising from the samadhi of subduing the Naga (Tibetan: ནཱའ་ག, Sanskrit Devanagari: नाग, Sanskrit Romanization: nāga, Literal Chinese Meaning: Dragon), spoke thus to the retinue: O! O! Assembly of the malicious ones! In the final time of the five hundred, When the doctrine of the Nagas flourishes, Diseases such as Chi Chi Jwala will arise. At that time, those who act as great Nagas, Wrathful King, do not transgress my command! If you transgress my command, You will be reduced to dust and destroyed! Fulfill my command truthfully! Having spoken thus, the retinue of the Naga assembly supplicated: O! O! Great Glorious Hayagriva King! We will act according to the command of the Naga Lord King. You are the Naga King, soaring in the sky! King of Kings, Hayagriva! If we do not act according to your command, We will be reduced to dust and destroyed! Thus the Nagas pledged, Afterwards, they rejoiced and were exceedingly delighted. The Great Glorious Hayagriva dissolved into the realm of Dharmata. The Nagas returned to their own abodes and remained in their vows. The chapter of prophecy and pledge, the thirty-seventh (chapter).
