Nine signs. Isvara or Mahesvara is considered eternal. The words of the Vedas are considered eternal. The inexpressible person is considered eternal. The Vedas are considered eternal, as well as specific words. Meaning, qualities are eternal. The number is also considered twenty-five. The meaning of words is considered the eternal cause. The Vedas are considered eternal, and the sixteen kinds of conscious word meanings are eternal. Combination, accusation, joy, these seven are, the sentient being, the possessor of dharma, knows all. I, the possessor of dharma, aim at happiness and suffering. Sound is eternal because it is not created. Trees have life, and die when peeled. Trees have consciousness, and shrink at night. Living bodies have self, have life, etc. Sound is eternal, and is visible to the eye. There are seven joys in meditation: Abandon this appearance, meditate on other than emptiness. Because there is no ultimate truth, there is no conventional truth. Separated from this appearance, do not think of anything. Memory is a fault, memory blocks the mind. Do not look at faults and merits, completely, meditate only on the non-conceptual of bliss. Only look at the non-conceptual of arising and ceasing. The secret Vedas of the heretics are, the external is meaningless, this mind is eternal. The secret Vedas of the borderlands are, the bindu in the heart is like a wiped crystal ball. The Vedas of poetry desire, the life that does not change in the three times. The three hundred and sixty views are, for the five aggregates of form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, each is counted as four. Form is not self, I am not in form, I am not form, and form is not in me. Feeling, etc. are also like that, counted as four, so it is twenty. For those twenty also, the form of form, the function of the feeling of form, the knowing of the perception of form, the action of form is called, the consciousness of form. Counted as four, so it is twenty. Those twenty are also accumulated, form has four, feeling has four, formation has four, perception has four, consciousness has four, so it is twenty. Twenty times five equals one hundred. One hundred of the past plus twenty, one hundred of the future plus twenty, one hundred of the present plus twenty, the two of eternal and annihilation, a total of three hundred and sixty-two. The sixty-two views are, eighteen speculations on the prior extreme, forty-four speculations on the posterior extreme, the total is sixty-two. Among the eighteen speculations on the past extreme, the world is eternal.
