By the three kayas, qualities, and activities, subdue the arrogance of Mahabala. By the great wheel gate of darkness, control the six realms and non-Buddhists. By relying on the guiding gate of conduct, control the characteristic vehicle. By explaining the joining gate of means, subdue the meanings of Kriya, Charya, and Yoga. By showing the definitive secret seal, transport to the generation and completion stages of Mahamudra. By explaining the distinction between cause and effect, know the magnitude of appearance and emptiness. By focusing on the mind, establish the three appearances. By relying on the suchness of wind, know the actions of samsara and nirvana. By explaining the Vajra recitation, the three seed syllables of secret mantra are included in the meaning. By the stages of manifest enlightenment, the obscuration-free view attains nirvana. By the union of clear light, again attain Buddhahood through Vajra empowerment. By the male accomplishment, for those with hatred, accomplish through life force. By offering Torma to Yakshas, for those with pride, accomplish by sending hailstones. By performing the female accomplishment, for those with desire, gather them under control. By sending the three poisons, for those with jealousy, protect and avert. By the pegs of Nagas, Nyen, and earth lords, for those with delusion, accomplish by entrusting to Nagas. All the secret instructions are gathered in this Secret Tantra of Mahabala, to spread and practice the teachings.

Translation. The hearts of gods and dakinis are connected. Thus, the sound resonated in the ten directions. Everyone understood it in their own language and dissolved into the great bliss dharmakaya. From the Secret of the Great Powerful Arrogance. The twentieth chapter, which is the complete collection, is finished. This tantra was translated by the Ugyen master Padmasambhava, given to the king and hidden, may it meet with fortunate yogis in future generations.
