Be! The name 'Mother' is because she gives birth to all. Mother gives birth to all Buddhas. She pleases the nature of the Father, She is the nature of the five elements. In the inseparability of Father and Mother, Through union, she pleases all. She pleases the Sugata, Purifies the afflictions of sentient beings in the three realms. She subdues demons, ogres, and wrong views, A bath of bodhicitta for all. True union and liberation arise there. This kila of compounded substance, Truly arises in four aspects. In whatever aspect of subduing the main and retinue, It is shown as four, each in its own way, Truly accomplishing the deeds of those to be tamed. Emaho! In the nature of bodhicitta, It is shown in four aspects. From the nature of mind itself, like the sky, Just as various miracles arise. From the nature of dharmata kila, Great play appears in any way. The order of taming is inconceivable. Fire is for burning, Earth is for pressing down, Wind is for hurling, Liberating the bhutas, And in the unchanging center, pressing down and liberating. That too is a great blessing. In the aspect of taming, it appears thus, In the basis of appearance, play arises, That too is a great liberation that arises. Ema, how wonderful this is! Killing and healing, Expelling and cutting, All the immeasurable sequences of protection, Years and months, hours and, Days and suns, Great lamas and arising and ceasing, Elements and means of pressing down, What is approached and what is accomplished, What is cut and what is killed, Wheels and various weapons, Tormas and wrathful ones, Generation and invocation, Offerings and praises, All deeds completely perfected, Are the play of great compassion. From the play of the dharmas kila, It appears thus for the benefit of beings. Vajrasattva, the best of minds, Establishes the true meaning. It is the nature of dharmata kila, From the nature of bodhicitta, There are no gods and no demons, There are no Buddhas and no sentient beings. There is no increase and no decrease, There is no exhaustion and no emptiness. Likewise, in the play without direction, Various different views are seen. Meditating on the order of actions, Because actions are unequal and different, The result is…

Incompatible differences arise. Therefore, the nature of reality is difficult to fathom, If one does not reach the essence of the meaning, Merely pointing out words will not accomplish the goal. For example, even a scholar of letters, If they do not become certain of their confidence, The ability to write will not fully develop. A person without martial skill, Has no ability to conquer others. Likewise, the very nature of bodhicitta, If one does not know it without a basis, The very nature of mind will not settle. Even if one meditates on and invokes deities, If one does not know it without a basis, Examining the deity becomes a false concept. Meditating on deities without a basis, Realizing the ultimate meaning of reality, And subduing those with perverse dharma, Guiding various beings, Subjugating demons and ogres. For example, in the basis of appearance of a mirror, Everything appears without a basis. Without looking, it appears in emptiness. The basis of appearance of existence and non-existence arises. Appearance and non-appearance have no inherent nature. Therefore, images are without a basis. The stages of view and meditation are the same, In the basis of appearance of all minds, For the sake of taming, anything appears. The deity in the mind is without a basis, The basis of appearance in everything is without a root. Clinging to self-nature is not even a deity, Clinging to a direction is merely a play. Uncertain view is without a basis, Likewise, all the stages without exception, In the root, the very nature of bodhicitta, Not grasping definitely, it is without a basis. The deity of meditation is also the same, In the basis of appearance of the root mind, The play of deities appears in any way. Since the play is grasped as self-nature, The deity is also born from pure self-nature. Material lumps, clods, balls, etc., The clinging to "I" and "mine," grasping and apprehending as permanent, Emptiness, selflessness, non-objectification, distraction, etc., Non-duality, natural purity, equanimity, samadhi are mixed up. Holding to the extremes of existence and non-existence, self-nature, etc., Holding to one's own side and letting go at will, Since it is ignorance and unknowing, it is let go in distraction. The extremes of existence and non-existence are uncertain, If it exists, it is said to exist, it exists in the basis of appearance of everything, If it does not exist, it is said not to exist, samsara and nirvana have no self-nature. With the consciousness that clings to self-nature, Is the cause of clinging to nirvana. From the very nature of bodhicitta, Samsara itself is also without a basis. Samsara is uncertain, without fixed grasping, If not grasped by the clinging of the holy, Samsara itself is also nirvana. All sentient beings in the three realms of samsara, All the victorious ones who abide in the three times, Bodhichitta
