In the Tantra of the Play of the Supreme Horse, this is the eleventh chapter, which elaborates on the secret mantras. Then again, the liberation of the mudras is elaborated, in order to symbolize liberation from complete liberation. The great mudra is: five heads and sixteen arms. The wonder of the heads is: the nature of the five wisdoms. The supreme head looking to the east is: the nine that subdue the king of the gandharvas. The supreme head looking to the south is: the head that destroys the king of the dead. The supreme head looking to the west is: the head that torments the king of the nagas. The supreme head looking to the north is: the head that causes sorrow to the yakshas. The central head is: the head that subdues the four maras. Blazing and shimmering, the sound of horses neighs in the ten directions. The Buddhas gather and are clear in the mudra of dance. The eight right hands liberate the eight afflictions and show the eight wisdoms. The left hand, having liberated, connects to the ten perfections. The vajra wings press down on the three realms.
