根细叶也细, 具有乌 উৎপala(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)之色。 与白糖混合后, 在寒冷的地方饮用, 对于三yojana(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)远的地方都能听到的, 是喉咙舒适的甘露。

It grows in the cold depths, The bark is sweet and the fruit is sour. The leaves' broth is sweet and entwined, After its bark is peeled, Soak it slightly in water. Its strength will come like smoke, If squeezed and drunk, Limbs broken and bones fractured, When heat diseases arise, Coolness will pacify them. Even the branches that sprout from it, Are carried away by fierce tigers. It grows in the midst of all forests, Mostly white tiger-striped flowers. If its cold broth is given, It is the nectar with cooling power. From the Tantra called "The Ornament of the Arising of Precious Nectar," the eleventh chapter, the essence of mind and brain, from subduing the great Rudra. Then Vajrakumara, When taking it from Rudra's nostrils, Three tears fell to the ground. From the tears of the black pupils, A flesh-eating yaksha woman was born. From spring to autumn, She dwells disguised as a Gora horse. There are about three horses each, A demon woman with matted hair, Eating people, with glorious majesty. Bound by mudras from the expanse of the sky. From the tears that fell to the ground, It grows on the yellow grassland. It is known as the ornament of the grassland. The roots are thin and the leaves are thin, It has the color of উৎপala (utpala, utpala, lotus). Do not carry rotten things or bamboo utensils, Harvest in the upper part of the first winter month. Use it as medicine to heal the eyes. From the white eye-cloud of Rudra, A drop of tear rises to the ground. It grows between the grassland and the trees, The white grassland ornament is nectar. After mixing it with white sugar, If drunk in a cold place, For the one heard three yojanas away, It is the nectar for a comfortable throat. From the tears of the red eye-cloud, Rising from the forest's crevices, It grows on the neck of the juniper. The roots are thin and the leaves are thin, The height of the stem is one fathom. Outside green, inside pure, and purple, Its name is Umu Ta. For eyes damaged by conditions, Lead the nose with buttercups, Mix with a little white butter. Or eat it in the stomach, Or on the soles of the feet, palms of the hands, and crown of the head, If used as a fumigation method, The eyes, which are hot and so on, And those that have become cataractous, Will become clear, without doubt. The Tantra of the Arising of Precious Nectar.

Thus concludes the twelfth chapter, "Tears of Essence from the Eyes," from the Taming of the Great Rudra. Then, in order to obtain the divine faculty of hearing, Vajrakumara caused eleven parts to rise from Rudra's ears. One part rose to the realm of Brahma, where a wondrous, magical flower bloomed, and he heard the Dharma being taught. One part rose to the Tushita heaven, where the Udumbara flower blossomed, and he obtained sixty melodies of Brahma's voice. One part rose to the realm of the gods, where he heard all the treatises of Maitreya. One part rose to the realm of yakshas, where a beryl flower bloomed, and he heard the lineage mantra of Vajrapani. One part rose to the summit of the seven mountains, where a large, purplish flower bloomed, and he heard the sound of the wheel and weapons. One part rose to the realm of the nagas, where a flower like a precious jewel bloomed. Five parts rose to Jambudvipa. One part bloomed between rocks and meadows, the great amrita, the bird of life, causing bodies to lengthen and wounds to heal. It is amrita, a medicine for bathing. From two drops rising to the earth, it bloomed on the mountain of wrathful rakshasas. It is the great amrita, Huanglian (Coptis chinensis). The trunk is rotten, and the roots are small. The leaves resemble a lion's ears. The core of the root has veins. Its taste is extremely bitter. It is the universally flowing, true amrita. From three drops rising to the earth, it bloomed everywhere without a fixed location. The roots are thin, and the leaves resemble a sheep's ears. The heart is like sentient beings. Its name is Taggu Lakar Kye. It is harvested at the end of the last summer month. Eaten mixed with butter, it nourishes. If it is slightly heated, it becomes a cause. It is the amrita that cures blocked throats. If boiled and used for bathing, it heals all stiff wounds. From four drops rising to the earth, it bloomed in the snowy wilderness of Nepal. The shrub is called Rere. The leaves are lush, and there are no branches. The yellowish meadow is not tall. It is the amrita that cures poison diseases. From five drops rising to the earth, it bloomed on the shores of lakes and cliffs. The amrita is the owl Rere. The roots and leaves are very bad. The bark resembles an owl's stomach. It is the amrita that cures flesh poison. If the warmth has not departed, there is no doubt that the dead will revive. This is called the Amrita Jewel Ornament.
