Then Vajrahṛdaya again asked the Bhagavan: O great blazing king, you are the great spontaneously accomplished wisdom, the king of weapons, the jewel, what is the form and essence of the garland? What is its nature and power? What are the roots and branches, the teeth, the stirring, and the falling? Please, true hero, explain. Thus he asked. Then the Bhagavan explained these essences of the wrathful mantra. Explaining the secret mantra for the sake of protection, its nature is emptiness, free from elaboration, it is unborn wisdom. The image of the form is letters, the essence is said to be the body of the deity. The blessings of the Buddhas of the three times, the essence is the root mantra. The treasures of body, speech, and mind, four one, four two, four three are, the essence of all the Buddhas. Now, gathering life and spirit, it is perfected into the form of a terrifying turtle. It is perfected into the form of the life-lord executioner, thus appearing as the essence of a deity. Its power is the fire-wind and the weapon of karma, the fire-army of poison is said to be the sons of gods. Then, the Bhagavan spoke this secret mantra: It arises from the Vajra of pure body, speech, and mind. Eka He Dun Ya Ma Nying Trak Ra Ma Tsa Ya. From the wisdom of Ka (Tibetan: ཀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: क, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ka, Chinese literal meaning: Ka) arises, the three emanations of Yama, Lord of Karma, all actions are unobstructed wisdom. From the wisdom of Dun (Tibetan: དུན་, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: dun, Chinese literal meaning: Dun) arises, the eight garland goddesses and the four life-takers, messengers and emanations beyond thought, their form is letters, their essence is deities. The mantra knows, protects, ripens, and destroys. In this, there is the supreme worldly accomplishment, because all arises from it, it is the meaning of the heart essence. It is the treasure of the heart of all the Victorious Ones, the inexhaustible store of mantra qualities, the precious ocean, the sky, and the earth, the meaning of many levels is completely fulfilled. The root is said to be the body of the mantra, the teeth are many curved knives, there is killing, protecting, subduing, and transforming. Whatever is done is accomplished by the tail of the mantra. Thus it was said. From Manjushri Yamantaka, the Great Powerful One of Sin, the sixth chapter, the teaching of the secret mantra. Then again, Vajra Heart requested, "Alas, Vajra Wrathful Form, if the secret mantra is explained as a deity, how is the practice of slaying that red-faced, cruel one to be done? Please, O True Hero, explain." Thus he requested. Then the Bhagavan again spoke this supreme secret yoga.
