The life of effortless perfection cannot be severed. To grasp at life is a mistaken and deluded notion. Self-liberation is non-dual, self-arising, liberated in its own place. If self-liberation occurs in the great wisdom mudra, and the lives of sentient beings in the three realms are severed from their false existence, then obscurations are purified, accumulations are complete, and the fruit is spontaneously accomplished. If the action of effortless activity is not understood, it is like using one's own axe as an example, leading to falling into the prison of karmic ripening. By making effort, one is seized by the eternal demon. If one knows that activity is spontaneously accomplished and effortless, then by reciting the names of all gods and demons, even if one sends them to work and dispatches all messengers, there is no acceptance or rejection, and the fruit is Buddhahood itself. Without searching or striving, it is complete, already enlightened. If one does not understand the meaning of mantra without approach, accomplishment, or effort, then by clinging to outer and inner signs and engaging in approach and accomplishment, one accumulates negativity, and the self-demon of effort revolves around oneself. There is no doubt that one will fall into the suffering hell realms. If one understands the meaning of mantra without approach, accomplishment, or effort, then in the life essence gathered from the efforts of the three realms, the supreme essence that combines the life-hearts of all gods and demons, the wrathful ཨེ་(藏文:ཨེ་,梵文天城體:ए,梵文羅馬擬音:e,漢語字面意思:唉)E and the union of limbs, know that the vajra recitation is the play of wisdom. Whatever is seen, whatever is used, the two extremes are self-liberated in their own place. If it does not accord with the meaning of that which cannot be meditated upon, then striving to meditate on a conceptual wrathful deity from elsewhere is always a mistaken practice of the tirthikas. From the emptiness of dharmata, unobservable, from the sky, in the miraculous display of the unborn arising, the spontaneously accomplished body of self-awareness mudra, non-dual wisdom, perfect enjoyment. By liberating from the two extremes of permanence and annihilation, it is the body of a Buddha. The aggregates do not abide, the Buddha abides in his own place. The Buddha beyond thought and analysis is spontaneously accomplished. Without this, there is self-bondage; without meaning, there is the extreme of permanence and annihilation. Like the sky, the precious ocean, and Mount Meru, because the two benefits are ripened, qualities appear in every way. Without bondage, without liberation, the fruit of traversing ripens. From the darkness of the five poisons, the delusion of appearance and existence, the sun of wisdom, the wrathful mantra of the Buddha, arises. In the place of the four maras, the dharmakaya conquers with bliss. The unsurpassed Buddha, great bliss, arises within oneself. Union and liberation, free from action and effort, beyond the extremes of permanence and annihilation. It is taught to be spontaneously accomplished in non-duality. From the Black Lineage of the Intent of Glorious Lord of Life, the Twenty-fourth Chapter, Free from Action and Effort, is complete.
