Do not disobey the command! Our minds and the heart of Yama are inherently not two. On the border protecting the outer circle of the mandala, may the retinue of the Vajra mantra residing in the south be steadfast in their vows. Oṃ Yama, King of Death, Name Mantra, rā dza sa do me ya, kriṃ skri sa sna dza ma ri sa ma ya stvaṃ. Having written a swirling nectar on the shoulder blade of a sheep, generate the samaya, invite the wisdom deity, perform the subjugation, offer the offerings, and entrust the activities. Make aspirations. Bestow auspiciousness. Where does he reside? In the expanse like the burning fire of the end of an eon. Which deity resides? The body of the great immortal wrathful one. What activities do the three faces perform? The right face, yellow and extremely laughing, accomplishes the increasing siddhi. Like the golden light of Jāmbūnada. The middle face, extremely fierce, dispels obstacles, the hue of emerald green. The left one is like a red lotus jewel. Red and scolding, it cuts off wrong views. On top of the matted hair on the head, adorned with a vajra cross, resides the lord of the family, the Buddha Amoghasiddhi. The activities of the six hands are the supreme method, the right one is the vajra method, the compassionate vajra. The left one is the wisdom of emptiness, the bell, the two methods and wisdom are crossed at the heart. The second right one is the wish-fulfilling jewel that fulfills desires. The third right one is the king of weapons, the sword. It destroys the three poisons of affliction. The first left one is the lotus flower, stainless and without defects, from the mud of samsara. The third left one is the vajra cross of activity. The ornaments and attire of the body are adorned with the four fierce serpent families on the hands and feet. Three circles of skull garlands, Brahma threads, and necklaces are worn. The hero wears a tiger skin loincloth. Where is the seat? On top of the seat where the great obstructing demons are crossed. What activity does he perform? He casts hail on the obstructing demons. What siddhi does he bestow? Please protect from obstacles. Please protect from obstacles. Oṃ Amrita Kuṇḍali cchinda dha samaya stvaṃ. Having dispelled the outer and inner obstacles, this is the mantra of Yama, the Lord of Death. Listen to the explanation of the garland of secret mantras.
