It is to abandon all afflictions, the root of ignorance, and the deep-seated habits along with their seeds, and to abandon the habits through the two obscurations. The definite conditions are: wisdom as the antidote to ignorance, the accumulation of merit as the antidote to habits, and the four truths as the antidote to purifying the two obscurations. The definite path is: to take the four truths as the path and practice them. The definite result is: to definitely be liberated from suffering. In order to stop the suffering of samsara, one must be liberated; in order to be liberated, one must abandon all the causes of deep-seated habits, accumulate immeasurable conditions of merit, protect the path of vows, and stop the result of suffering. Therefore, one is definitely liberated from habits, hence it is liberation. This is the determination of the path and the result. The truth of the path is the common path, and the special is what appears as the path. The truth of the path is to abandon all worldly paths and to adopt all paths of nirvana. There are two paths, common and special. The first is that the Hearers appear as the four truths, the Solitary Realizers appear as the twelve links of dependent origination, and the Bodhisattvas appear as the five paths and ten perfections, although they are distinguished in this way separately. However, in the common path of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas, these appear, and the special path appears as tranquility and insight. Here, it is only the four truths. In short, that which causes the attainment of the wisdom of omniscience, without lacking any cause, is called the path. That is, abandoning the worldly path and adopting the transcendent path. Entering this path and practicing it. There are four kinds of reasoning: the reasoning of dependence and the reasoning of function. The reasoning of dependence is: depending on a bad cause, knowing a bad result; depending on a good cause, knowing a good result. The reasoning of function is: afflictions act as the antidote to non-virtue, and virtues act as the helper of all white dharmas. The reasoning of validity is: validity for the subject, like fire; validity for the proposition, like fire; validity for the reason, like smoke; validity for the example, like immeasurable fire; in short, all dharmas are determined in the true knowledge by the path of valid cognition. It is the reasoning of the nature of dharmas. The nature of dharmas is: the selflessness of persons and the self of dharmas.

Or the realization of non-existence, or the unerring realization of the meaning of the Four Noble Truths. That path established by reason is called reason, also called valid cognition, also called asceticism. Knowing death and impermanence, knowing that karma and the fruits of karma arise. Yes. There are two kinds of practice: common practice and uncommon practice. The first is to meditate on death and impermanence, to meditate on the arising of fruit from cause, thereby knowing the faults of samsara, generating the mind that desires liberation, thereby learning the common refuge, thereby guarding the vows undertaken like the eyes, and then meditating on the selflessness of the person. Uncommon practice is, on top of the above, cherishing all sentient beings with love and compassion, generating special refuge. Then generate the aspiration Bodhicitta, then generate the action Bodhicitta, then enter the gate of the Paramitas, then meditate on the selflessness of phenomena. Thus, when the meaning of the Prajnaparamita is practiced without being inverted, it is called practice. That itself becomes all the dharmas that have become the path above, which is the Prajnaparamita without inversion. Residing in a monastery, practice with the Dharma Four Noble Truths and the fruit Nirvana as the object. Common practice and, uncommon practice. There are two kinds of renunciation: the definite renunciation from the cause of samsara and the definite renunciation from the fruit of nirvana. The first is, for example, just as fire does not arise from wet tinder, because attachment is stained by the moisture of afflictions, therefore the fruit of nirvana cannot be attained, therefore, one should be separated from the afflictive attachment of samsara. The definite renunciation for the fruit of nirvana is, for example, just as fire arises from dry wood, with the wisdom Three Jewels as the object, practicing the Four Noble Truths of the path and the four combinations, accomplishing the fruit Dharmakaya, or accomplishing Arhatship. In this way, for the Four Noble Truths of the path of the Hearers as well, one should open the mind of wisdom. The cause is from samsara, the fruit is liberation from nirvana. There are two kinds of mind training on the Dharma of the Self-realized One: external and internal. The first has two kinds: six related to the cause, six related to the condition. The first is: sprout and trunk, branch, leaf, flower, fruit. The six related to the condition are: earth and water.
